There was nothing we didn’t like! We wish we’d booked for longer. Definitely coming back!

My pod was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for touring the area. The breakfast was also very nice.
Make sure you take pound coins for electricity and the tumble dryer etc.

Very peaceful and relaxing

Loved it, especially the kind staff in the cafe. Loads of wigwams! Showers, washing machine, cooker, all amenities - Cannot wait to go back to try the onsite pottery painting.
The wigwam was clean and neat.
The bed was really comfy and the wigwam heated up really quickly with the built in heater. There was a kettle and a fridge. Not far from Berwick. Cafe has a lovely real fire and home cooked food/baked goods.
• £1 coins for the electric cards, £1 per card - This needs stipulated 100% when booking.
Lucky I had some pound coins but the young couple in the next again wigwam didn’t so I bought them a few cards.
That could have been an annoying trip off the site to get cash out and then change.
• Out of season with only a few wigwam guests, it would be nice to spread us out a bit, even if we had a wigwam between us, all those wigwams and the three residents were right next to eachother.

Wigwam was fairly cosy and warm for the time of year
Nothing major to declare, it was exactly what it said it was. Bed wasn’t quite as comfy as I would have liked but beats sleeping on a hard floor.

Brilliant location and arrangement of huts very well thought out. Site not flooded with light or false looking, so blends very well into the farm. Lovely and quiet at night. So peaceful
Very disappointed at the cost of bedding hire. No indication was given when booking at how expensive it would be. Had to make special arrangements to acquire my own bedding. Photo given when booking was very misleading and showed a very cosy bed. The cabin was lovely but not at all cosy

It was a lovely site... had a little bit of a shop and restaurant. A little play area for children, but with not having any with us, didn't use.
Didn't use restaurant, found it rather expensive, but would rather have had a cheaper option, being pensioners, hadn't got that sort of money to splash out.
The pod was fab.. as I struggle with walking, we upgraded for 1 with a bathroom, with was fab.... plenty of room for wheelchair users.
Problem with electric meters was, neither myself or husband could reach, I had to help him climb onto the seating, and hold on to him while he put them in. And the switches to all the kitchen stuff were at the bottom of the lower cupboards, again we couldn't get to, I ended up using my walking stick to turn them on. I know it's not much, but if it helps for people to know first, it won't be a shock.

Loved the quiet, good walking trails, near some great sites, excellent breakfasts, staff were awesome, great value, taxis knew where to pick us up and drop us off, refrigerator in cabin, good common kitchen area
Long walk to bus stop. Not always good bus route times. Works for people with cars but not those who is public transportation
Lack of wifi to plan destinations and keep in contact with family

Everything about this site did not disappoint. It was a first time staying somewhere like this for me and my 6yr old and we absolutely loved every minute. My only regret is only booking for 2 nights...we could have easily stayed a few more. I added the party package because it was my daughters birthday...again it didn't disappoint. We can not wait to come back again.
The only little point for me is not having temperature control in the shower block...it was to hot for my little one.

Booking was easy and quick. Easy to find the site. Good access. Came after 4pm so the instructions to our site was easy to follow. The cabin was clean. There was a kettle and fridge which is great. The whole area is very neat and tidy. Practically everything you need is on site. Showers, toilets, washing machine and dryer. Fully equipped main kitchen area, including chairs and tables, microwave, oven and even an ironing board. There was a notice to clean up after yourself and it worked well. Access to beach is quick by car and a short walk on foot. I enjoyed our breakfast. I had a small English and my son had pancakes. Staff at reception and the restaurant friendly and attentive. Met friendly families and people from all over the globe, which was really appealing. Lovely hearing the bird chatter and the people on site were quiet!
Nothing I can say I didn’t like. A few things I think others might appreciate. The mattress to sleep on is longer than usual so a double sheet is useful to cover it. The showers are odd. You have to keep the button pushed in to keep water flowing. This made showering awkward but possible. On the plus side the water is warm. I am not sure if the site keeps emergency stuff like toothpaste etc but the shop on site doesn’t have any. Happy to be corrected if wrong. This was amusing for me but our mini fridge acted like a freezer and froze everything in it. Yogurt, salad and milk!

The wigwam was clean and super cosy, the beds were comfortable and the park was great for my daughter. The communal kitchen was fab had everything we needed and the staff were lovely. Also the location was perfect for days out and the beach 5 minutes away.
Nothing to not like

The location was excellent. Close enough to amenities yet with a feeling of complete isolation. Short walk to the wonderful coastline. The hut was comfortable and the showers and kitchen were clean and functional. I loved the restaurant, lovely food and reasonably priced. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Communication was excellent too.
If you want comfort and luxury, stay in a hotel. This is posh camping at an appropriate price. I can say that there was nothing I didn’t like. Perhaps make it clearer that you have to pay extra for bedding at the booking stage but this is a small thing.

Location fine but could not get breakfast early enough,
Was told there was internet in communal areas but not told that those areas were only open between half past 8 and 4pm.
Also could not get food late enough

The outside areas were neat and tidy. Dining area was nice with a good selection.
Cost for the dog was excessive, people next to us were very noisy till the early hours. The hut seemed unfinished.

Every morning and at dusk, I'd see a roe deer on a hill in the grain field. It's worth coming just for those views. Bumblebee had a nest under our terrace, constantly flying around and buzzing pleasantly ☺️
The fridge in our room was a micro, but it was great that it was there at all.

Had everything we needed. Great to be able to have breakfast on site. Staff were very accommodating and easy to contact. Spacious huts. Great to have option of electricity in hut at a very cheap price. Great kitchen area for everyone to use.
We thought the bbq areas were open to all and for anyone to use. We didn’t feel it was clear that you had to pay £30 to use them. More shower rooms would be a bonus as there weren’t many in comparison to the number of huts.

The wigwam was clean and spacious and we had our own kettle and fridge/freezer inside.
The beds were warm and comfortable.
The toilets, shower rooms and kitchen within the complex were kept clean and tidy at all times. The kitchen had all the facilities, crockery and utensils that we needed during our stay.
Restaurant food was delicious and affordable.
Only a 5/10 minute walk to Cocklawburn beach with captivating views.
We were welcomed by Anne on arrival who kindly offered and carried our suitcase to our wigwam. She made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay.
I didn't catch the cleaners name who stays in the caravan on site but what a lovely lady. Recognising that my son struggles with sensory she gave him the choice of different coloured bedding and made sure that we were both comfortable during our stay.
This was our second stay at Pot-a-doodle-doo and we hope to visit again in the near future.
There was nothing that we didn't like.

We loved the quietness. Comfortable and cosy. Location for Holy Island and Seahouses was perfect. Kitchen facilities were fine with cookers, kettles, toasters, washing machine and dryer available. Plenty of cutlery and crockery available. Toilet and shower block good with plenty of room. Our wigwam/pod was warm with a kettle and small fridge. There's a heater too. Electricity is bought from a machine in the kitchen block and takes £1 coins. We stayed 4 nights and used £2. Running the fridge, heater for 30 mins, kettle a lot and phone chargers.
Nothing to not like.

Spacious and fantastic staff
Cleanliness, toilet floors were manky and the bed size are tiny, had to resort to putting two mattresses on the floor to avoid bumping our heads

I couldn't pick any false with this place absolutely amazing everything about it iv fell in love with the place

We liked the location and the wigwams were warm and clean
There were huge parties of people who were loud all day and night, there wasn't any management of that.
We also paid 50 pounds to bring two dogs but there was absolutely nothing for dogs in terms of facilities to justify that extra expense, for example there is a nearby beach so a outside tap or shower for rinsing the dogs would be great and somewhere to let the dog off to exercise. We genuinely didn't understand what we were paying for.
I liked my stay, but it feels like it's all about making more money; £30 to use the bbq hut, for example, not allowed your own, £12 to have a campfire..
The shop could do with selling the essentials like milk, bread etc, too.
There are other wigwam sites that I'd prefer to stay at, but this place was alright for a couple nights.

When I booked place said that had TV and barbecue and nothing there and every place have something to make fire outside and mine don’t have.

Nice location
The booking.com advert was misleading. We thought we had a bathroom. The was communal showers and toilets. There was a communal kitchen with flies flying around. There was only a kettle and microwave. To be honest, there was hardly enough room to swing a cat
There was nobody there to greet us, just a message on a board, and the restaurant was not open on the days we were there. We didn't stay and booked in somewhere else.

Loved the location of the pod we were allocated. Great kitchen facilities and massive shower rooms.. Liked the pod that had been turned into extra toilets
Would of liked a water tap nearby instead of going to the kitchen to fill up bottles for the kettle
