Very happy last minute half term stay

The property was well equipped, it was really clean, all communication with the vendor was prompt and clear. The sofas were really comfy, it was really well located for the beach and for going across to Berwick-upon-Tweed. A great last minute find for a quick getaway at half term.

Only thing we found annoying was there was no cupboard space for storing dry goods in the kitchen, so we had shopping bags on the floor during the stay as there was no where in the kitchen to store anything. But it was only a minor thing.

Lovely Apartment

Very clean and tidy apartment. Very well equipped kitchen including a generous Welcome Box. Bathroom is quite compact but the shower area is very spacious. Quiet location and within easy walking distance of the beach and promenade.

Happy with everything! 😊 Summer weight duvets might be an idea but we did stay during a heatwave!

Great flat in quiet area

Location was great, enjoyed 20-30 mins walk to Berwick. Quiet street. Spittal has a lovely promenade and beach. House very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Lovely welcome pack on arrival very much appreciated. Bread, milk, butter, jam, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, crisps! Well-equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Fantastic shower!!

Berwick surprised us with all that it had to offer and we will be back

exellent accomodation. Very comfortable and clean. very well equiped kitchen , particularly good for visitors, like us , who wanted to do some cooking . Location across the river from Berwick town centre but made for a lovely walk along the river estuary (we didn't have time to visit nearby Spittal beach) Easy parking on street outside apartment Berwick had so much more to it than we were expecting

A good base for exploring

Nice flat in the small village of Spittal, with a beautiful beach about 300m away. The flat was spotlessly clean and there were various essentials, such as milk, tea and coffee, provided. A good base to explore the area

It would've been nice to be able to sit outside but the yard area isn't very welcoming with a couple of old chairs, a ladder and hanging baskets with dead plants. The sheets on the bed were polycotton and very scratchy - think they may have been new but hadn't been washed first?

Plenty of Space. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. Two minute walk to sea-front. Apartment is on first floor, but there is a spacious self contained hall-way where we left heavy items.

Superb

Great location and very accommodating hostess. She allowed us to check out late and take our time as there were no other check ins that day and housekeeping would only come in the next day. Even the next door neighbour was helpful and one of his friends showed us how to lock our house door as theu saw us struggling with the lock. They even suggested places to eat around..

Bathroom and kitchen were compact but a little small for us as my husband is big built with a big tummy so it would sometimes be difficult for all of us to fit into the kitchen. But everything was spic and span...

We loved the apartment and would stay definitely stay again

Spacious, tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings and an eye for detail. It really was home from home. Everything was provided including a lovely ‘welcome pack’ of essentials (milk/bread/butter etc) together with some treats.

My husband found the bed a little uncomfortable, but to be fair, this often happens as he’s over 6’2” with a Rugby player build abs is used to an Emperor size bed. I however slept like a log ;-)

Outstanding in every regard: excellent location, with easy access to beach, nature walks, and the center of town, well-appointed and thoughtfully designed home away from home, very clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the lovely welcoming basket with a generous gift of local goodies - jam, bread, butter, and shortbread. Also, the hosts were very caring when one of us fell ill. Their personal touch and thoughtfulness meant a lot to us.

A lovely, quiet and comfortable home from home, close to supermarkets, the beach and Berwick.

I really appreciated the gift box Allison had left for us in the kitchen - that was a lovely, welcoming touch. The house was nice and quiet and had good facilities. Allison sorted out a problem we had with the shower temperature promptly.

The shower was set to too high a temperature when we arrived so we couldn't shower but Allison came and sorted this out for us.

Spacious living room. Comfy sofas. Excellent shower. Generous welcome pack.

Poor lighting in both bedrooms. It was not possible to read in bed. Neither of the bedroom TV's had any signal and it was not possible to watch live TV in the lounge. The owner was not previously aware of the problem and called out an engineer. He was not able to fix it during our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped but there was no storage space whatsoever for food. The double bed was comfortable but the single was not.

Perfect.

Beach View was just perfect - we arrived by train and walked to easily find it after around 30 minutes. We love walking and the beach and promenade are a short distance away on the Northumberland Coastal Path which is stunning both North and South of the river Tweed - the lighthouse is something to behold! The walks inland following the Tweed should not be missed either! Beach View was the perfect location and place to stay. It exceeded our expectations and the Hosts were available for any issues/advice - we had none.

The hostess Alison had left a welcome box for our arrival There was everything we needed and so much more than any welcome pack I have seen before. Tea coffee sugar milk bread jam biscuits crisp butter toilet rolls washing-up liquid dishwasher tablets the contents took the stress of having too find a shop after having a four hour drive! So happy with the apartment walked in to a lovely clean & modern rooms, Alison was at hand by phone if we had any queries. We cannot wait to return !!!!

A relaxing place to stay

Modern, clean, comfortable, easy parking, well decorated. Great location for beach, supermarkets and sightseeing. Welcome basket of milk, butter, bread, jam and biscuits was very generous and we really appreciated it after a long journey.

The property was so lovely and location perfect for us

Beautiful property, in a great location just yards from a lovely clean beach. There was a safe key box and good communication with regards our stay, in fact we got in earlier which was great. The property itself was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay, the welcome box was a lovely touch . Decor and furnishings are lovely , everything about it was perfect. Would highly recommend it :)

Property was absolutely immaculate. Decor was neutral and relaxing, it felt like a home from home. Couldn’t fault how clean it was. Towels were in sealed hygienic bags. Provided tea towels dishcloths dishwasher tablets,tea, coffee,sugar. Had a lovely surprise food welcome box on our arrival, with milk and butter in the fridge. Arrived early and owner let us into the property early.. Key was in the lockbox, so no messing about trying to get the key to get in. Great location to discover the Northumberland coast. Two minute walk from Spittal beach. Owner message all the time to check we’re okay and if we needed anything. Couldn’t fault this property at all.
