Clean and in a perfect location
No key being in the key box had to wait over an hour to be able to contact anybody eventually had to walk to another hotel to book for the night and they advised this is connected to them and gave us a spare key nobody responded back from the company to the message left on the answering machine very poor

Comfortable and warm, clean and spacious, modern facilities.
Hot and cold taps in kitchen were mixed up ie H was cold and C was hot. Also no immediate access to car park (aving to walk round to the other side) and also as another car had taken up our allocated car park space.

Location perfect
The cottage itself is cosy clean and relaxing
The work outside the property wasnt great it was messy, muddy and at times due to lorries and machinery troublesome

This is a lovely little bolthole for a break in Beadnell. Very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen. We were here for a winter break, doing some walks on nearby Embleton Bay and Bamburgh and it was absolutely perfect for that. Highly recommended.
Nothing, all good.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable
The toilet was a battle to flush, the front door was very hard to open and close as a woman I found it really difficult, we went with our dog but the muddy pot riddled road just outside the front door was a nightmare and impossible to try and keep the dog clean most time we had to carry the dog from the front door up the stairs and straight into the shower luckily our dog is if medium-sized if he was a larger breed I honestly do not know how we would have managed without turning the apartment into a mud filled environment.

Really cosy and well appointed. Easy walking distance to beach and amenities in Beadnell.
There wasn’t a secure WiFi network that I could join so was using a hotspot, which wasn’t always reliable.

The location was excellent. Close to the sea, places to eat and local attractions. Very peaceful.
On entering the cottage there was an overwhelning smell of dog. It was very unpleasant. We think it was probably in the hoover the cleaner used, as it was a stale smell and very strong in the bedroom with the carpeted floor. We are dog owners (but did not bring ours) and found this smell deeply offensive! We gradually got used to it but each time we came back to the cottage it became apparant again.

Lindisfarne Cottage is in an excellent location within 2 minutes walk of the local pub and other places to eat and drink and within 10 minutes walk you can be on either of the local beaches.
The property next door is currently being renovated (Oct 2025) so don't book in the near future if you want a lie in.

The property was in a lovely village clean & tidy it was adequate for very short stay
The main bug pair was the uncomfortable bed mattress appeared old you rolled into the middle of bed as soon as you lay down the springs on the bed creaked every time you made a move. With it being a 1 bed apartment you could not even move to another bed. Heating was on with no signs of thermostat to turn down or off & it was a hot sunny few days. The wi-fi information was incorrect as we could not login. Not much in the way of utensils to use for meal prep i.e tried to make scrambled eggs for breakfast only one bowl which was far to big more like a big baking dish. The directions to the apartment were very misleading even down to the name of them we stopped a local to get directions & even they did not know from address on website.

Location next door to a hotel was convenient and other cafes/restaurants were all easily accessible.
Poor soundproofing between properties meant you could hear noise from an adjacent cottage including snoring which disturbed sleep.
Parking spaces were quite tight if you have a larger car - we ended up parking elsewhere.

Comfortable lounge. Good shower. Good parking outside the cottage.
With the double bed, the wooden base on the side nearest the door squeaked loudly when turning over in the night, from around the join between the two boards. It might just need the screws tightening. The light and shaver point over the sink don’t work.

Nice location in small village. Cottage was very cosy and contained everything required for our stay. Could hear some noise from other cottages but nothing significant. Would definitely make a return stay.
The parking was awkward especially as we were in the end space so had to reverse in.

Nice location, quiet and very close to places of interest. Three good places to eat it within 5 minutes walk of the cottage. It was nice to find tea , coffee etc already in cottage to put us on until we were able to do a shop at the nearest supermarket in Seahouses around two miles away.
The key box was a little tricky to open , took us around ten minutes to open it even though we entered the correct code. Stair carpet would have been handy as the wood was a high gloss varnish so rather slippy in stocking feet. The TV remote didn't work correctly so we ended up just watching the channels 'it' decided to let us view lol.

Very easily obtained keys through the key safe. Very good location with good local bars and restaurants.
Our Loft Apartment and the Cottage our Mum & Dad stayed was very tired. The walls really do need to be re decorated. The Carpet in the Loft Apartment was not fitted correctly and looked extremely shabby. The radiators in both Apartment and Cottage were very rusty. The taps in the Cottage are in desperate need to be replaced. Our stay was uncomfortable due to this.

Great location, surrounded by very good restaurants. House well equipped with everything we needed.
Bit of a dog smell on entry a bit off putting. Could also smell when sitting on one of the sofas. Building work, we didn’t know about, taking place from 8 am on the attached house. Double bed needs a new base, made up of bits of board.

Tucked away, views of the church, close to pubs, quiet location.
No address to follow, parking was tight for a big car- we were in the end cottage, it would have been a challenge to park if all cottages had been taken.

We didn't have a problem with the instructions to park and get to the front door they were very well presented and easy to follow
Very cosy front room and bedroom in an excellent location a stones throw from a lovely pub/restaurant.
We arrived and immediately had a shower only for the shower hose holder to break off when I tried to raise it up the pole a little.
I used minimal effort and within half an hour or being there we had a breakage (which played on my mind for the remainder of the stay) It's better to install metal fittings because the plastic holder break very easily.
I was informed it was installed only 5 months earlier, well then the previous users must have been very rough with it, as I was not.
We kept extra belongings (like hiking boots) in the car and if we forgot something it was a long walk round back to the car park. Especially annoying when you only need to get one thing and with the car being just outside the cottage window.
The other larger cottages of course didn't have that problem as their front doors were situated in the car park (we stayed in Stable loft cottage)

Location very central and handy for local eateries.
Accommodation was a little dark inside, lights needed to be on a lot. Roller blind in kitchen very difficult to reach, had to stand on chair to close it.

Location was great
Noise from upstairs apartment, decoration needs attention, health and safety issue with bathroom door and bedroom door clash and I trapped my hand which needed attention.

Really nice, clean, spacious cottage for a family of four and a dog. Lovely courtyard to sit in, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen.
Brilliant location! A short and scenic walk to the beach (beach trolley is a must and makes life easier!) and everything we needed on the doorstep - village shop, pub, choice of places to eat.
There isn’t a thing we didn’t like!

The location was very acceptable being located in the center of the village
The room smelt of wet dog..
The housekeeping was poor.
There was numerous issues such as
1. Emergency exit windows locked with cables, no key available
2. Furniture needed repair
3, No chain on bath plug, struggled to remove.
4. Bath Taps loose.
5 Shower switch cable no handle,
6. Fire alarm system was sub standard.
7. Velux window was held shut with hook. Needed window replacing.
8. Fridge was not in good condition and didn't match booklet plus needed repair.
9. Toilet roll holder loose.
10. Kitchen facilities need upgrading.
Overall not the standard required to be expected for the cost.

We booked two cottages. One for myself and husband and the second for our daughter, husband and 3 month old baby. The setting was perfect and very relaxing. Ideal for visiting Bamburgh, Holy Island, Seahouses, Craster. Absolutely loved Beadnell. Had a small grocery village shop which catered for our needs. Couple of restaurants in walking distance too.
The only main issue we had were the duvets were too warm for the summer.

The location was excellent, a nice seaside village. Pubs and shops within walking distance. Very quiet.
Parking was a little awkward to manouevre a bit cramped. Some of the facilities were worn and needed to report a few repairs, e.g. the bathroom sink hot water tap wasn't working.

Great cottage in fantastic location. Comfortable beds and everything you need.
Nothing to dislike
