nice place, good for vacation, cabin very new, onwer are nice and helpful. we arrived at raining night and hard to find the road. owner answered phone shortly. The next day, a sign was added. our shoes were dirty because of the rain, and next day they also paved a new road for us

Cobbles and hubby Autumn Break

Loved the cabin , cosy and warm. Definitely off the beaten track. The weather was abysmal as caught up in storm Brena, however, this did not spoil our autumn break. The star gazing was excellent Would recommend Thank you to hosts Kay and John

Lovely cabin in a peaceful area. We even managed some star gazing! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived after dark and were unsure of the right path through to the cabins, but Brendon quickly called and guided our way. Some extra signs to direct may help, especially when it’s dark.

The perfect pod stay :)

We had a fabulous stay! The pods were secluded and have incredible views to relax and switch off (which is exactly what we wanted). The drinking water is super fresh, the shower was lovely and hot and the main bed was really comfy. Easy instructions to follow to find the pods and the wheel barrows to get your stuff to the accommodation was a fun way to get the kids to help :) We will definitely be back - Thank you so much!

Beautiful and peaceful

Loved my break at the cabin, slept soundly and enjoyed walks around the stunning reservoir, which is around the corner from the farm. The heating was excellent, nice bed linen and fluffy white towels. Really appreciated the attention to detail. Beautiful surroundings and a warm welcome. Looking forward to staying again.

Peace and quiet! Particularly loved the mooing cows first thing in the morning. Cabin was comfortable and warm. Love the messages about sustainability and I love that we are contributing to hedges and tree planting! Some lovely touches. Bed was lovely. Fantastic shower. Good facilities. Will come again!

The only thing was the mummy cow in the access road with her calf. I was a bit nervous opening the gate with mummy cow coming towards me! But if you love cows - this is the place to come and my husband laughed at me because he’s fine with cows!

We just love the peace and quiet.

This is a very peaceful relaxing place. You would never think you're only a 15 minutes drive to Hexham, where you will find Tesco, Aldi and Lidle .There are plenty of places to visit just a short drive away. I do love to watch the beautiful Aberdeen Angus cattle strolling around and watching us. This is not like a BB where you would be spending more money. You have all your cooking facilities and utensils you would need, along with a good size fridge freezer, I do love to cook. We absolutely love it along with our spaniel Phoebe.

Usually I do have something to complain about...but honestly there is no one thing I don't like.

The only issue was the television was keep on buffeting and limited channels. Would be nice to have a path from site to reservoir as we couldn’t find one. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Can't wait to go back!

Fabulous peaceful break near the fascinating Wallington Hall, Ponteland, Hexham, Hadrian's wall etc. Cabin was spotlessly clean, really comfortable. One of my dogs is disabled and the gated deck allowed him to sit and watch the world very happily. Worked well and we will definitely be back!

Sensitively positioned cabins, beautiful and thoughtful landscaping. These huts are not just plonked in a field. Very clean and well equipped inside with lovely outdoor seating area too. Ideal base for exploring by car or on foot. And on a proper farm.

Bring ear plugs as the very handsome cows can get chatty early in the morning.

A peaceful, quiet yet interesting farm location where the owners really care about the customer experience, with a prompt, Personal and exemplary service. The lodge was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy, with fantastic views of the farm and surroundings.

The pod was really spacious and the decking was a good size for a dog to roam freely as well

Lovely experience

It was set in beautiful grounds, so peaceful and quiet with nature and animals all around. The hosts are very friendly, informative and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cabins were comfortable, clean, and as a solo traveller with a dog found it perfect. It was easy to find and surrounded by lovely villages, walks and sightseeing.

Although there was a short 5 minute walk around the cabins. Would have liked a lovely long circular walk somewhere in the grounds. Also would have liked a hook behind the bathroom door for dressing gown and wet towel after shower. Recycling bins.
