I was a bit disappointed that we had to pay extra for bedding for sofa bed as I think this should have already been included in the price, but will note this for future.

The perfect 'getaway from it all' cottage

Laverick Cottage was just beautiful! High quality furnishings and finish, including Egyptian cotton bedding which makes all the difference. Location is stunning - the views are amazing! Loved the dog walks to the pub and back. Kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we did a fair bit of cooking. Loved the cook books provided. We managed to leave a couple of important items behind, but owner contacted me quickly to let me know and was very gracious about it; posting the items on to me.

The only thing we found that needed addressing was a couple of pots had shaky handles.

A beautiful, remote cottage to get away from it all and to explore Northumberland.

Beautifully furnished, lovely and warm, very spacious, and exceptionally clean.

Quite remote and the track up to the property was rougher and dirtier than expected.

Stone cottage with spectacular view

Beautiful accommodations! Comfortable, fully updated wonderful interior. All the comforts of home. Spectacular views! Easily the nicest place we stayed in our 16 day holiday traveling across England. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Beautiful location, with walks from the house. Many interesting places to visit locally.

Everythong was good. A difficulty with water was solved quickly and efficiently by the owner.

Going up and down the track to the property- in winter months would need a 4x4. Pub further away than expected -too far for us to walk. Be prepared to give grocery delivery drivers directions.

Excellent location, besides the bumpy ride in our Mini, property very well presented and beautiful spot.hope to visit again.

No DVD player or music centre. If we stay in the winter we often take a box set with us for the dark nights.

Perfection in Hadrian's Wall Country

A perfect house for 2 people. Wonderfully located between north and south river Tynes in open countryside near to Hexham and major Hadrian Wall sites. Many walks on your doorstep. Exceptionally comfortable, tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped it has everything you could possibly need. The hosts are helpful and responsive. A truly memorable experience.

The peaceful surroundings of this place, the comfy atmosphere of the cottage, how easy it is to explore the area from the location by car, this is the perfect place to stay! The cottage has been furnished and supplied with such attention to detail, you will not miss a thing.

Simply Perfect.

Prior to arrival I was provided with clear instructions and was able to access the property without any problems. The property was exceptionally clean. There was everything you could need for your stay. The property is ideal for walkers (or young explorers with muddy wellies) as it opens to a large space with room for muddy boots and coats. The towels and bedding were of excellent quality. The location is peaceful and a natures lovers paradise. Rural yet close to Hexham and other local attractions.

It is a very clean property and the hosts have taken everything into account what guests would require for a comfortable stay.

I would struggle to find anything wrong with this property. I would just request the hosts to provide a more detailed information regarding the directions as the Sat Nav takes you near the place but not quite there.
