Very quiet but only short walk into shops, bars etc. Cosy lodge with everything you need for your stay. Loved the recycling station onsite. Easy check in and friendly helpful host. Dog friendly.

Very friendly reception thank you Gordon! A nice quiet location within a few minutes walk into the centre of Ballater. The lodge was very well equipped for self catering.

Some of the floor was a little dusty. The duvets were good but the addition of some simple sheets would be more comfortable when the weather is warm.

A very pleasant stay.

The lodge was very convenient for all local facilities. It was quiet, and had all amenities necessary. Having tea, coffee, milk, biscuits everything required was there. The owner being onsite to help with anything was a bonus. There was plenty of parking. We would definitely go back again.

Very good ,surprisingly a beautiful part of Scotland . Would recommend .

Nice quite ,central location with easy walks into town. Weather was also good for our stay which helped. This allowed us to use the good outside amenities at the lodge. The external seating within the facility.

Nothing really , if picky I am not a fan off leather seating . Tend to stick on it when its hot .
