SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION SUITED OUR NEEDS, WITH LOCAL DOG FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS / CAFES.
LODGE WAS SITED IN BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY SIDE, WHICH WAS IDEAL FOR DOG WALKS. NOT TOO FAR FROM THE CITY, WHICH WAS AN EASY WALK ALONG THE RIVER. EXCELLENT ALL ROUND.

The perfect place to unwind! Located next to the garden centre cafe and a short walk to the pub but you also feel miles away from anywhere! Beautiful accommodation, beautiful location and James the owner is a fantastic host! We can't wait to return in the near future 😀

What we loved most about the property was how effortlessly it combines luxury with its natural surroundings. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, ultra-modern and finished to a really high spec but still feels homely, warm and relaxing.
The bed was unbelievably comfortable (honestly better than our own at home!), which made it so easy to fully switch off and enjoy a proper rest. The rainfall shower was another highlight. Not only spacious, powerful, and perfect after a long day.
And I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors. They flood the lodge with natural light and frame the surrounding farmland perfectly. Whether you’re inside daydreaming with a cup of tea or outside on the balcony listening to the birds, it’s incredibly peaceful and just a beautiful place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart, is James who is genuinely passionate about creating not only a place to stay but an experience for his guests. Prior to the stay he introduced himself via messaging and throughout our stay casually checked in with us too. We will 100% be back this year and forever more and look forward to seeing his vision develop and grow.
