Incredibly small room. Photos make it look like an apartment but it actually a small room with a shared living area. Double bed but only accessible from one side. So you have to climb over someone to get out.

Absolutely nothing!! Would not recommend at all!!

Bedrooms were freezing cold, beds were rock solid, very uncomfortable and barely big enough for 2 people, when the toilet was flushed on the second floor sewage was bubbling out of the sink in one of the bedrooms below, there was a strong smell of weed that would come and go and on returning keys to the reception we found this was due to someone smoking it in the tunnel that leads to reception, locks on the inside of the bedroom doors didn't work, carpets on the stairs were peeling in places which are a potential trip hazard.

We left after 1 night

Room absolutely tiny. No where to store clothes or hang them up. Walls scuffed. Heater hanging off wall. Freezing cold. Large single glazed sash window that didnt close. Noise from street and nearby night clubs well into the early hours. Like staying in a bus stop.

Cheap enough and cheerful, too.

This is in a brilliant central location for the football and for nightlife. They have their own parking, which is very handy indeed. There's a staffed reception and the staff were very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean.

My room's window didn't lock and the heater had broken, so it was VERY cold. I found the beds a bit hard, but I'm sure that's to many people's liking. There aren't any tables or wardrobes etc, nothing there to put things down on or unpack clothes from a suitcase. I had to contact the property for instruction on how to get there as the address is wooly. We didn't receive a PM, either.

Very disappointing stay.

Furniture was nice, comfy and modern. The apartment was pretty clean and decently looked after.

The windows in the property were very poorly sealed and we figured out they weren't even glass - just plastic. Because of this, it was extremely cold - especially at night, and the noise levels from outside sounded like the windows were fully open. Due to the noise and the cold, we slept very poorly. It was so cold that even having all of the radiators on full made absolutely no difference as the heat was just leaving immediately. The space in the living area was very cramped, especially after viewing the photos we were expecting a lot more space, and there was not sufficient seating for a property that sleeps 8 people. Additionally, one of the chairs was also broken, limiting the seating even further. There was also no cutlery and not enough crockery for each guest - the kitchen was very poorly equipped. The internal locks on most of the bedroom doors were broken so we could not lock them while we slept. We had significant issues with getting the TV to connect to the wifi, and the remote had no batteries in it so we had to take some from another remote in one of the bedrooms. While not explicitly rude, the reception staff were not very friendly or welcoming, and didn't seem to be happy to be there, nor did they seem like they really knew what was going on. After checking in, we requested to stay another night if it was possible, and after talking to a manager, the receptionist said they would be able to offer another night for £170 instead of £240 if we paid the business directly via cash or bank transfer, rather than through booking.com, however the guy on reception told us it was £200. He then only said it was actually £170 when we asked to pay bank transfer, he told us to send that amount to the business account and he would give us some other details for the remaining £30.

Didn’t look like the pictures.. not clean, dust everywhere scuffs on all walls. Massive pillar in the room that you couldn’t move and shower fixed with duct tape. Very rough place and stayed in better 2 star hotels abroad.

Room not double to small should be a single . Large Hole in wall needs repairing. Walls need painting ' A MESS ' . No light switch near bed tripped during the night trying to find switch. No chair only small stool. No storage for bags or coat hangers.

Shocking. Dirty, ill resourced and poor standard of equipment in the apartment

Where do I start?? The property for 8 guests was filthy. We found a discarded false nail, false eyelashes on the window ledge, and a used vape. The curtains didn't fit the single glazed window so during the night with temperatures of 2 degrees, the curtains were moving due to the draft. We could hear every possible sound from outside through the flimsy glass. There was no cutlery, crockery, cups, glasses or pots / pans so although we have prepared a bolognaise in a big pot at home, we couldn't then cook any pasta to go with it. There are bathrooms for all rooms, but not all are en-suit. our shower dint work properly with water flowing out of a connection at the bottom of the unit. The power cable from the fully interactive TV, didn't actually reach the plug socket so we had to ask for an extension cable. This request must be made by every visitor. As I booked for my party of 7, I feel responsible for what was the worst venue I have every stayed in! Nest step is to contact Booking.com for a full refund.

Great location but a bit of a hovel

The location is very convenient if you are planning to spend time in the city centre and you would like easy access to your accommodation.

If you would like to actually spend time at the accommodation as a group, then this property is not particularly suitable. Many of the amenities listed on the booking page (dining table, cooking equipment, hairdryer etc.) simply were not present in our apartment. We were a group of six (in an apartment with three double bedrooms), and there was a single 2 seater sofa in the accommodation, which made it impossible to relax before heading into Newcastle. It was also impossible to cook anything or eat anything that did not come in its own packet (as no plates or cutlery). Beyond this, our apartment had cupboard doors and fittings hanging off, a broken oven that didn’t work at all, a broken door lock, fewer mugs than occupants (and forget glasses), and was generally quite filthy. We found a used plaster in the shower, and some used fake nails by a bed. The sofa was covered in stains and had some used hair pins on the arm. Overall, it was apparent that the cleaning between stays is minimal. We did not feel that the photos on Booking.com accurately represented the apartment we stayed in. For us, the location did not offset the filth and disrepair of the apartment. The owners could do with spending some time and money undertaking basic maintenance.

A convenient place to stay in Newcastle city centre.

Conveniently located near to the city transport and at an economic cost. The room was comfortable and had a small, well equipped kitchenette - there was also a communal living room and kitchen along the corridor.

There were no drawers/ hanging space for clothes, or mirror in the bedroom. The ensuite shower room was further down the corridor.

The room is nothing like the photos provided online. The bedroom and bathroom were tiny! The sink and shower filled up very quickly and then wouldn’t drain properly for hours. Dirty towels and very uncomfortable bed!! The room was overall uninviting, cold and dirty! If you want to sleep well - do not choose here! The windows are so thin - they may as well not exist!! Do not book this place if you are expecting it to look like the photos because it will not be anything close! Avoid at all costs.

Very tired when leaving with broken sleep

It was clean

Window was broken and wedged up allowing all the noise from cars and people all night. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t sit on the toilet properly as your legs ended up in the shower. Door closers were not adjusted properly and all you kept hearing was doors slamming shut.

Budget but wouldn’t stay again

The property was central location and the staff were lovely and helped me upstairs with my bags and also allowed me to keep them there after checking out as there was a wait for my train

The room was absolutely boiling hot with no air con and the window took all of my strength to open even the slightest bit but no latch so had to slide my jacket in to keep it open. Before opening the window there was a lot of bugs in the room. The room didn’t look at all like the photos on the website the tv was all taped up and badly needed an update. There was a pair of worn pants on the bannister for a while and in our bathroom the toiletries were used and lying knocked over in the shower so either hadn’t been replaced or bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The bathroom had an overwhelming smell of gas one morning which was extremely concerning and when I mentioned it to concierge carpet air freshener was used but no real investigation into the gas stench. The walls were paper thin and the noise from people outside the hotel was extremely loud until 3am so I didn’t really get any sleep until after that. Staff were lovely and location is good but that’s the only real positives
