Alnmouth Seabreeze apartment. .. part of garden house cottage..

Seabreeze apartment was a little gem . It's Part of the garden house cottage. Very cosy. Really warm. Great facilities. Comfy bed. Plenty of wardrobe space. Good view. Easy access to beach . Great spot everything in walking distance. Bonus! Your own parking place. And dog friendly. Will be back sometime soon

A beautiful located apartment which has been furnished to create a warm and relaxing stay .

Close to main street for cafes and restaurants and a two minute walk to the beach. Communication with the host was extremely efficient. Appreciated the flexibility with check in and out.

The Garden House Alnmouth

We stayed in the Garden House for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday. The location was fantastic, tucked away but in the centre of Alnmouth and so close to the beach. The house was perfect for 6 people with great social spaces. Unfortunately the weather in Jan meant we didn't use the garden but it would have been a lovely extra space when warmer. Our hosts were fantastic, they checked we arrived safely, leaving little treats for our arrival, gave great directions and extended our check out time. Parking on site was a bonus, we could use the drive and had a space outside. Everything was perfect, we would highly recommend this for families or friends.

Fantastic house in an amazing location

Ideally located for our weekend in Alnmouth. Property had everything we needed, very cosy and more than big enough for the 5 of us (2 adults 3 children and 1 dog).

Perfect stay

House was beautifully decorated,had everything we needed and excellent location. Host was attentive,friendly and welcoming

Nothing at all. Was excellent Small suggestion as folks in our 60s bottom two stairs were a bit dark. Not a problem used the torch on our phones but outside light may help if did not shine in next apartment window. Thank you to Susan for her fab support.

Amazing stay

Everything about the property was amazing. It had everything you needed plus more. Was close to everything and had free parking which was amazing. The property was exactly how it looked in the pictures. Property was very dog friendly with a basket with blankets, towel and poo bags. The bottle of presecco, milk, tea and coffee was a great touch and much appreciated. Close to all costal walks too. The local people are very friendly too. All pubs and restaurants are dog friendly and lovely for drinks and food. Would highly recommend visiting Alnmouth and staying here. We will definitely be back.

Only negative was we couldn’t stay longer. Not a negative but just be aware Parking is a bit tight if you have a big car so just have to take extra care. The people staying in the cottage were great and helped so we got both big cars in.

Reasonable flat but poor value for money.

Good size living area and bedroom. Bathroom and kitchenette were clean. The flat had a fairly modern feel and was well laid out. Milk and tea and coffee were provided.

Carpet was dirty and the sofa, stained. Shower had only a very small gap to enter and exit. This meant scraping my skin on the way in and out. Velux windows have no tool to open or close and are quite out of reach. The ice box in the fridge doesn’t appear to keep items frozen. We found dirty crockery, cutlery and glassware. There were only two drinking glasses. All other glasses were for alcohol. Original high chair provided was dirty. The straps were caked in food from previous uses. This was corrected on contact with owners. The cot was not built and the mattress on the cot was thin and hard. No towel for the child was provided. Bed was very soft.

Comfortable stay in a lovely spot but slightly spoiled by disturbed nights sleep from neighbours.

Great position, plenty of space, parking on property. Alnmouth lovely spot on the coast, close to great walking, birdwatching and mainline station if you want a change of scenery.

Be aware that Seabreeze apartment is over some of the rooms of Garden House with very creaky floorboards and noises from occupants easily heard. So some disturbed nights.

Great stay, wish we’d had longer

Perfect apartment for our family of three visiting Alnmouth for a short break - very comfortable, great amenities and helpful owner Susan who checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly. Short walk to village center and beach and private parking was useful

Lovely stay in a lovely house

The location was great. Amazing that it came with parking and we could walk to the beach. Extremely comfy beds and the layout of the house was perfect for our family of 5. We had a great week and stay here with everything we could possible need provided. Thank you

Property was lovely and situated right next to the beach. Host was very responsive and couldn’t be any more helpful. Property had everything we needed for a short stay and beds were extremely comfortable. Would recommend 100%

Wonderful

Location was excellent.

The only thing I noticed was that it was not very sound proof. I could hear someone snoring in the next door apartment from my bedroom, and it was very noisy with cars coming & going directly beneath my living space. Doors slamming, people talking etc.

The property was spotlessly clean, fully equipped and had lovely comfortable beds. In a great location for the village and beach.

parking was a little difficult but we do have a large car it was also a little noisy overhead in the en suite bedroom when there where people in the apartment.

The apartment was compact and stylist, beautifully-designed. Perfect for a two-person romantic getaway. The host, Susan, was very communicative and took care of everything - we didn't even have to empty the bins when we left. We also really appreciated her accommodating our two dogs.

Four nights was good, seven would have been better

The property has so much atmosphere. It is obviously old but excellently renovated. I found the view of the river Aln to be my favorite. Seeing the tide in the estuary rising and falling,I found very relaxing. The location could not be better and the free parking makes life a lot easier.

Good

Wrong key code on arrival luckily the couple next door had a phone number that was answered and give us the right number.I think future bookings should be told about the building work going on next to the property it is very noisy.
