Convenient location, comfortable stay

Very convenient location. Not far from the city centre or the main sights. Bus stop literally next to the apartment. Comfortable rooms. the balcony is a nice view. A few decent restaurants close by, the Asian restaurant Goki is outstanding

The listing mentions air conditioning but there is air conditioning, only fans. It wasnt too hot when we were there but the listing needs to be changed. They have a very nice balcony with great views but the cushions on the seating werent washed so we couldn't use the space.

Nice balconies but otherwise not great

The balconies were great and it was close to a supermarket and the center. There was two fans.

There were not enough kitchen-material for five people and the dishwasher did not clean properly. There was not enough proper chairs for everyone, but at least there were a few stools. Only two toilet paper rolls for 5 people and 4 days, and no hand towel. The kitchen towel was dirty, wet, and thrown on the table of the balcony when we arrived. The were an AirTag on the key, felt kind of creepy beeing tracked when we left the apartment.

Terrible experience

The location near to the parking and to the main attractions

The description said it is air conditioner in the department but that is not true, not air conditioner available, only one fan. There are not really 2 bathrooms, there are two areas like bathrooms: one with a bathtub and sink, and the other with water and sink, so only double sinks. The room with the double bed does not have electricity. The refrigerator and the microwave in the kitchen do not have electricity. Not possible to turn on the TV. No pillows available for the sofa bed. Poor cleaning.

The property was quite spacious and well maintained. We had all the amenities and view from the balcony was amazing.

There was no parking in the property but we managed to use nearby city parking which was affordable. The place is 1KM away from Chapel bridge so little bit of walk.

Fine stay, would likely stay elsewhere in the future as shower was difficult and no laundry.

Great location close to the Lion moment, old town and train station. Bus out front was convenient to get to/from apartment with luggage. Quiet building.

Bathroom was recently redone, but the tub only had a handheld shower and no holder for the shower or shower curtains. Kitchen had absolutely bare minimum - could use some aluminum foil and a few more baking utensils.

It's walkable to the train and boat stattion and downtown.

The shower situation was tricky. Not enough kitchen supplies to actually use the kitchen. The walls and furniture look heavilu used and give it an unclean feel, but the apartment was cleaned.

The apartment was very centrally located, spacious and airy.

The shower over the bath needs improvement.. It was very difficult to operate as was getting into and out of the bath. the microwave oven was not working - it went not did not heat up. The light in the main bedroom was not working. The hand towel rail in the bathroom needed mending as it kept falling off. More utensils were needed in the kitchen e.g., a large bowl, tongs, teaspoons and larger mugs. Two of the seats were only plastic stools not suitable for adults.

Though mentioned two bathroom but practically it was one bathroom only as half plus half makes one only not two No cup board is provided in either room and no mirror or dressing table in one room. Owner neither met nor picked up phone when power went off suddenly of appartment. By recommending such appartment booking.com will lose its credibility

You are a bit away from Old Town, but this place is a great VALUE!

We had to have someone help us find key. It happened to be another vacation renter. Key lock box is stuck to the side of the mailbox. We never saw it. We were on the 7th floor. Elevator is very tiny. Holds 2 people with luggage or 3 without. We found fans helpful since it was warm. We LOVED the outdoor balcony and furniture. It was cushioned and really nice. Kitchen was unusual in that island looked like it was supposed to be against the wall because it had a back to it. It was about 3.5' from the wall with the fridge behind and to the right of it. Just strange. We LOVED having the toilet separate from the shower room. It's great when 3 women are sharing. Owner was VERY HELPFUL and so was his cleaning gal who helped us get a taxi when it was time to return to the train station. It made a HUGE difference to us as we would have missed our train.

We went to open the hall cabinet and handle fell off in our hands. Same with the towel holder in the toilet room. Could use some TLC. It was about a 12 minute walk to the trolley tour...outside Schweizerhof Hotel. Another 6 minutes to old town so be prepared to walk. We found it doable, but once we walked over bridge to eat at restaurant on other side, we ended up taxiing back. It would have been a rather nice 25 minute walk for us, 20 for younger people. You are about 20+ minute walk to the piers where cruises leave from (on far side of lake in front of train station). It's under 3/4 of a mile to the train station. If I needed a 2 bedroom apartment in Lucerne again, this was one of the better VALUES in this overpriced but completely loveable city.

Perfect location to visit Luzern

Location is just perfect. Few minutes of nice walk from the old city and the main attractions The apartment is awesome: a penthouse with huge terrace and exceptional view. Ideal for a families Public Parking is 100 meters away (safe and modern) and is possible to stop in front of the property to load/unload the luggage) comfy beds.

No shower, only bath tab. Pillows too soft

Great location ! Great view from tarrace!!!! A lot of space - 3 rooms etc. + normal kitchen - if someone has more time he/she can prepare even dinner on tarrace ... or only wine : )

Key exchange - it should be explained one week before arrival - it is not hard but if someone first time arrives it is hard to firure it out by yourself that you have to open postal box, then input 4-digit password (you don't have) to get a key. Thanks God one phone and we knew a.m. but ...sometimes numbers/phones get lost/battery is out and it such case it will be a problem.

Pleasant

The location was excellent, host very helpful, beds comfy and good appliances in kitchen - although fridge was unplugged which we didn't realise until the morning so things were not as cold as should be. Great outside space.

States shower in bathroom - which is really just a tap shower attachment - not a standing shower. There is a bath but no plug so not very helpful, especially with small children. Also a number of door handles and leg on table were very loose. Just needs a bit of maintenance in that regard, but overall decor of flat is fine. Would be handy to provide a clothes airer for drying clothes as there is the space. Also very limited clothes storage space - only two bedside cabinets and no hanging space.

Great location, perfect for a group of 4

We stayed in the Hawa apartment for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience. The house is located on the 7th floor and is accessible by the lift. Centrally located and close to the Luzern lake and the old town. The pictures don't do justice to the view from the balcony - simply exceptional! It did get slightly hot during the day but there were standing fans in each room. The host was easily accessible and was helpful. I would recommend this place!

Good

There were two bedrooms and a nice balcony.

In the description there were two bathrooms, which is why we actually booked the apartment. But actually there was one toilet and one bathroom with only shower, which caused inconvenience, as we were 4 people. There was coffee machine but it’s water tank was missing, so the machine was not usable. It is in a large apartment building, so it was very noisy, you could hear people fighting from downstairs.
