Condition of the apartment was great. All the amenities were there. They were really proactive about sharing check in info and the whatsapp number and very responsive. Provided helpful advice about area nearby

The apartment was reasonably priced (for Lucerne). The location was very convenient for walking to all the sites. It was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated that they gave us a city discount pass.

Very basic apartment so don't expect much. Suitable if intending on a short stay and not in the apartment often.

Only stayed for a night, but it's in a nice location close to the train and bus stations. Lots of restaurants and touristy stuff around. Also has an elevator for moving bags easily. The apt also had 2 fans which was great as it was quite warm during our stay.

Check in is bit tricky, when I reach to the building couldn’t find anyone but I got a call earlier the day so called the guy and within a minute he was there. Also, you need to check in before 9pm otherwise they charge I think 30 franks (whopping 60canadiN dollars ) overall good studio apartment ok for 3. Small kitchen you want to make a breakfast or any food. Not too bad for the price.

The property was centrally located and the host on site was extremely helpful. The two bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen lacked a toaster and good frying pans but was sufficient for cooking simple meals. However the internet was very poor, constantly going in and out of service which made it difficult for work which I needed to do. and to enjoy some tv in the morning. The floor was very dirty and the main/front door houses all the garbage bins which was not very inviting. I would not stay here again

Located in a quiet place away from the hustle bustle which was nice but that means you walk 20 mins to the centre or take a bus and fewer dining options around. Quality of the furniture was poor. The elevator wasn't working on 1 of the days. Everything else was good.

I have several kinds of issues in this staying. 1) parking discount available was in their posting in hotels's com web but they didn't any discount for me and they remove it the posting. 2) The elevator was out of order when I arrived the hotel, and my room was 5th floor it was really night mare because we had 6~7 luggages 3 of over sixty seniors 1of 30 young lady, it was really big matters fir us.and it remaind unfixed situation when we check out. 3) There was really tiny bathroom. This was the worst staying in my life. Overrall, I was disapointed a lots.

Interaction and welcoming was good. Easily accessible from station. But we were moved into the apartment where the main central light in living area was not working. We had to manage with corner light and bedside light for all five nights we stayed. Informed on the day we checked in but got a response that it is being looked at and cannot confirm when it will be fixed. We stayed for 5 nights without this issue getting fixed nor there was an attempt to make an alternate arrangement. It's also hard to believe a light can't be fixed in 5 days. We were offered to change apartment on 3rd day but it didn't work for us. It would have been better to change on the day we checked-in. Lighting was poor but we continued. Apart from this stay was Ok.

We complained on the first day because we couldn’t use the corridor to reach our apartment, as this disgusting area had not been disclosed to us when booking. However, they didn’t listen or take any action. You can see from the photos how horrible it was, and we could even see it from our bedroom. Every time I looked at it, I felt sick. There was also asbestos in the apartment, and since my nephew has many allergies, we had a terrible experience overall

So if you have any mobility issues, know that stepping into and out of tub is very difficult and dangerous. There is a grab bar but it is so low that it is not functional. Also, the bed was not very comfortable , and pillows might as well have been absent. There was an oven but no pans that could be used in it. No microwave( and if the oven functions as both perhaps some written directions). The coffee maker worked great. There were 3 groceries stores in walking distance. The free transportation card was a Godsend in the wake of a heat wave. Took bus/tram a lot. Two fans helped a lot. There is a laundry room in the basement , and a drying “room” which is apparently open to all residents, we did not need to use it. Most nights it was very quiet.

Accessibility is the plus, walkable to major attractions and bus terminals etc..But apartment condition is not worth for the price you are paying specially cleanliness needs to be improved. Overall an average stay experience.

I don't normally review places but... this was awful. Host was late to check us in...emailed twice tried calling, she showed up 15min late. Stairwell smells like pee and mold. Elevator is also gross. Roaches in the bathroom. Fan in the bathroom doesn't work and it is super hot in there. Floor is sticky. Paint is peeling off the walls/ceiling/doors. Furniture is cheap ikea stuff that is worn out. Mattress is uncomfortable. Wifi name/password info wasn't accurate. Really doesn't look ANYTHING like the photos. Feels like a bait&switch scam.

Not at the center of Old Lucerne. Always travel light. You might pass the cobblestone's street and it’s hard to get with luggage’s.lol We look like stupid American there pulling our luggage’s.

The apartment is centrally located in proximity to many sights. The apartment was simple. We wished it was a little cleaner. The floor felt sticky and the air was stale ( like smokers in there before us). Also the fridge was shut off when we arrived and smelled bad.

The property clearly mentioned laundry as a facility. When we went and inquired, they said they charge for laundry. Also the apartment is super super super small. The pics give a look of a bigger place. It is less than or around 250sq ft for the whole place. It fits a bathroom, dining table, 2 beds and kitchen. It felt like we are in a cramped space. Very suffocating.

We stay here for 3 nights. Very poor condition of the bathroom. Beds are not comfortable and not clean. Not equipped properly on the kitchen. Very poor cleanliness compare to standard rentals/ hotels. Couldn’t even turn on the TV.WiFi signal was poor. Never recommend to anyone.

Terrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs! This was a truly terrible experience. The entrance to the apartment was unclear and confusing, making check-in frustrating. The listing was completely misleading, and the apartment itself was poorly maintained. To make things worse, it was noisy at night, and I couldn’t get proper rest. The sharp edge of the toilet even cut my finger open – extremely unsafe! Overall, a fraudulent listing and a huge disappointment. Do not recommend

Apartment inside is good. Only complain was they changed the lobby door lock without telling us.. Called the lady and she said be there in 5 mins to open for us. We waited outside at least 20 mins and no one show up. End up some other people from the building open the door for us.

Mona was quite a host for our booking and was very friendly. The apartment was clean and spacious. We had an issue about the main entrance door, after we had after checked-in. I had to wait for other people to access the building as the owner did not provide the key.

The room that was given to us for tiny. The kitchen was even tinier. Nothing like the pictures The comforters that were given to us were still slightly wet. It was super hot and the fans were not enough. The internet was horrible. The only thing that was good with the property was that it was a walking distance to the downtown.

Very clean and safe. Staff is excellent. Good location to access Lucerne while giving the guests a feeling of where Lucerne citizens live as opposed to upper echelon Lucerne citizens and tourist’s typically reside.

There is construction going on right next to the room. The jackhammering and bulldozing started at 7am sharp. Our view was watching the heavy construction equipment go by our balcony. There is no AC, so to cool the place we needed to open the windows. Then construction dust got all over the apartment. Everything was dirty. The apartment was falling apart, kitchen facet was loose, cabinet doors barely hanging on and showerhead was super flimsy. They provided no hand towels or washclothes. The sponge that was there to wash your dishes was disgusting! Also Expedia says that laundry is avaliable, but you need to pay them $25 for 5 things. The laundry mat is a 10min walk. It is a nice location and you can walk everywhere. The apartment was spacious with a nice layout.

This apartment was a huge disappointment. The photos on Hotels.com are completely misleading—the place is much smaller and poorly maintained. When we arrived, the Wi-Fi and fans were unplugged, and neither of the bedside lamps worked. One electrical socket didn’t work at all, and to make matters worse, there was a safety pin jammed inside an extension cord, which was a serious safety hazard. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, which is a basic necessity. The overall condition of the apartment was uncomfortable and felt neglected. Definitely not worth the price, and I feel like the owner is intentionally misleading guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

This property worked well as a place for my family to spread out a little after traveling in hotel rooms. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. When I booked, laundry was listed, but there was not a washing machine in the room. Overall it was walkable to everything we needed, there were grocery stores a block away, and it was a good stay.

Check in wasn’t great, we had made them aware we would be arriving early and they asked for £30 we just wanted to leave our bags so gave them a time no one was there. Then when we got back at check in time again had to call as no one was there. They did only take 5-10 minutes though. The laundry facilities which says are included in the apartment actually cost £25 to use and are in a different room - this is not clear when booking. The shower is broken so you have to hold it to use it. The Tv did not work asked for logins which we didn’t have. There were only four mugs and 2 wine glasses for 5 people. There was only one key for five people which was an issue because you needed it to get in the main door and we were on floor 5. Other than that the apartment itself was spacious, the area was fab and the apartment was clean and the man who checked us in was very friendly.

The location is good. Check in was in person. It was a heat wave through Switzerland and the fans were inadequate. We never received the city travel card from the hostess. We had our swiss travel pass and used that.

The location is close enough to walk to the city center, beach and train station which is great. Checking in and communication was a bit difficult. We had to wait awhile for someone to come check us in even after setting up the check in time.

Apartment was extremely small and doesnt match the pictures. We were 3 ppl. It was a twin bed and a sofa bed. No space to open the luggage. Tiny kitchen area at the entrance of the apartment door. Utensils were old and in bad condition. Bathroom shower curtain kept on falling. There were only 3 rough wornout bath towel. No hand towel nothing. Not worth the money. Only good thing was bus stop was close by.

The Galaxy apartments were a good option in Lucerne with room to grow. It is close to everything with a very attentive staff. They are on site and responded to all requests immediately. The apartment complex is a work in progress. They are updating it, but it still has room to improve. Overall, it was a good location, close to old town and grocery stores, great staff, but it needs to continue its renovation to get to where it needs to be. I would recommend staying there with awareness of the situation.
