HITrental Old Town Apartments

It was a clean and comfortable room and had everything we needed for our stay. It is hard to beat the location if you want the independent of an apartment.

It was central to the heart of old town Lucerne. Restaurants, shops, tours and lake front.

Being in the heart of Lucerne there has to be noise but it was ok.

The property was in a good location and was comfortable for our two day stay.

Our check in was sub standard. There were lots of communication about checking and I submitted days before that we were going to check in between 3-4pm. We arrived at approx 3.30pm and the key was not in the key box as per instructions. After ringing the staff, I was informed that the room was still being prepared. This is unacceptable as we had notified days in advance of our arrival time. Worse still, there was no offer check in bags and provide a place for us to sit while waiting - we were left on the street. There was no communication of when the room would be ready. We decided to enter the property and go to our floor where we could see a staff member preparing the room. While the cleaner was apologetic - there was no further communication or apology from your reception staff. For accommodation that expects premium payment - this was not a very professional operation. I would never recommend your business because of this experience.
