HITrental Chapel Bridge Apartments

The perfect location of the hotel is my favorite. It is right bybthe river and we can see the wood bridge and Luzern lake from the hotel room window. Also, the hotel is equipped with washing machine and dryer so we can do laundry when we stay.

We couldn't have checked in on time and it has been delayed for 1 hour because the hotel room was being cleaned.

A portable AC option may have helped during the heat wave.

Exceptional location, we could see Chapel bridge, river and church without stepping out of the room.

The attic rooms, being on the top floor, were good for views. From ergonomics point of view, bed arrangement could have been better so that the other side of the bed is easy to approach.

The location is good and you can see the chapel bridge right off the window.

The rooms are weird and beds are with cheap mattresses. There is no air conditioning so it was very very hot in summer. If you open the windows, there are a lot of noises from the restaurants and bars downstairs, and the bugs got in (no window screens). The washer and dryer are in common area of the building and you need to buy your detergent (which is super inconvenient if you just stay for couple of days and the smallest packages of detergent that you can buy from COOP is a 20 loads pack!). The shower is very small and slippery and hard to turn around inside. There is only one cheap detergent (combo shampoo and body wash). The coffee machine leaks too and cannot make coffee. We arrived at 3:00 to check in, but the key box does not have keys, and called the office. It turns out that the room was not ready until 4:00pm. (They are nice over the phone though and granted late check out, so it kind of makes up to the late check in).
