Beautiful suite
Very spacious and luxurious suite. Very thoughtful touches like home-made short bread and toiletries. Magnificent park-like grounds. Truly delicious breakfast included
It's a genuine B&B so heads up: there are no cooking facilities, tea and coffee making only. Arrived late due delayed flight. We were hoping to hear some food in a microwave but Julia heated it for us so not a problem really

A wonderful oasis in a beautiful part of New Zealand
Fabulous surroundings..it’s set in a wonderful garden. The Columbus Suite was sophisticated and luxurious. Julia couldn’t have done more to make us welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in the conservatory was a real treat with the very best of fruit, yogurt and juice….. and THE very best poached eggs in the world! If you want somewhere to stay that’s a little different and you want to feel rather spoilt this is the place to stay. Thank you SO much Julia!

Just a lovely home from home experience!
Julia is the most wonderful host. She made us feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The Columbus suite is spacious and very well appointed and has everything needed to ensure a really comfortable stay. We truly appreciated (and admired) Julia’s attention to detail - evidenced by the fantastic breakfasts she made for us each morning.
We loved everything - we went up to Omaha for a few days of golf (and beach) and we couldn’t have chosen better accommodation as a base
