Excellent position when staying at Whangaparaoa,proprietors were more than accommodating .The property property was extremely clean and well presented and in an excellent location opposite little Manly Beach. Enjoyed evening drinking out on the terrace barbecue area looking over the ocean

The best so far on our trip

We arrived late and Tony texted and called on where he left a key for yes. He was very helpful and kind. Next morning he gave us recommendations of things to do and see. If I had to stay there again I would have stayed 3 days. Such a great experience

Troy makes it great

Beautifully greeted by the owner Troy he was very accommodating even did out laundry while we went out for dinner.The room was lovely. The deck view was relaxing.Can not fault the service and hospitality.

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff truly made our stay exceptional and unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Troy and Tomoko for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. The room was immaculate and beautifully maintained, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was also perfect, situated right across from a stunning beach with beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return!

Friendly welcome. Very clean and well maintained lodge. Super convenient location with a beach across the road. And short walking distance to the famous Italian restaurant Due Amici in Manly.

No air con which was fine with just the fan.

Reception was very welcoming 🙂 room was clean, bed was so comfortable and spa tub was a bonus! We loved the breakfast served in our room toast was nicely done. Highly recommended if you want to relax and have a good view of the beach.

Would be nice to have an aircon in the room on a hot day 🙂

The much publicised breakfast was not available. I even had 2 emails after we checked in publicising it The shower door stop was right on front of toilet and my wife stubbed her toe on it

We loved how spacious and well-minted the room was. Lots of room to spread out and relax. The bed was super comfortable and the oversize tub was a true luxury! Just across from the beach and a short drive up to Shakespeare Regional Park made the location perfect for us.

The host was extremely welcoming. She ran through the appointments in the room, was very knowledgeable on local places and went out of her way to help us. She even came out of her office to wave goodbye and thank us for staying there.

The couple that run this place are outstanding. Super friendly and helpful and so accommodating. Appreciate the personal welcome note on the table on arrival.

The location was perfect, everything was so close and convenient. We really enjoyed the nearby Manly restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, and we felt very welcomed by the friendly lodge team which made our stay even better.

The only downside was that after having dinner and cleaning up at the dining table, there were still ants around. It would be great if this could be addressed
