2 storey steps outside to access the room which were concrete two were severely cracked and dangers Mould in shower and bathroom smelt mouldy

Great location, short walk to shops/beach/public transport.

Unexpected extra cost (laundry - only one machine + dryer to share between staff and 19 rooms). Room got broken into and personal electronics were damaged/broken. Tenant who caused this wasn't kicked out or held responsible. Horrendous wifi, smart TV didn't even connect. "Double bed" was two singles squished together, very uncomfortable. Room I was put into was NOTHING like the photos advertised. On my last night there new tenants tried to gain access to my room at 1:30am as management clearly double booked. Will not be returning.

Facilities old and not fit for purpose. Only redeeming feature was a comfortable bed. Language barrier at checkin. The pavement was broken and in desperate need of repair.

Great location, enough if you only require a bed and shower for your stay.

Great location, easy access to Takapuna beach, supermarket, Lake Pupuke. North and South Motorway easy to catch. Nice toiletries supplied, great water pressure in shower. Plenty of room for parking.

Booked for 5 people and only provided 3 towels. Room wasn’t ready by 4pm when I said I’ll be there by 2pm. No toilet paper or a refill after one night. Gap in door at top so bugs came through (white tail spiders, beetles). 1 week before checking in received a call to cancel booking as they overbooked, thankfully someone cancelled and I could keep my booking.

as i was trying to do work which requires internet, or even for tv watching, the internet was terrible. constantly dropping out which meant i couldnt work and the tv kept turning off.

Location was good and the price reflects the quality.

The interior was pleasant, and had been upgraded.

The building itself is in a state of disrepair. The front door had a visible gap which let in cold air, the windows were difficult to open/close and the floor was sloping. The exterior of the property is very poorly presented and in need of a spruce up.

The room needs basic maintenance: a 1cm gap in the front door when shut, the bathroom doorknob needs fixing/replacing. Our main concern was the lack of a smoke alarm which I'm pretty sure is a legal requirement (there's a space for one but no actual smoke alarm). A bin in the bathroom please! And everything in the kitchen had a slight stickiness, felt the need to wash cups before using. A sour receptionist, no friendly welcome and no word when leaving, did not feel welcome there at all. For the cost I'm glad we only needed it one night.

Enjoyable stay.

Location was good for where we needed to go. Across the road from a supermarket. Staff were really helpful and friendly enough. We needed an extraa room for another person travelling with us, they managed to get a room sorted.

No internal locks on the doors, I had young kids that could open the door and get out. Washing and Dryer is handy to have, but bit hard to use when other peoples washing still left in it.

Not much. It was close to the venue where the competition was.

Our booking was wrong, and no help was offered to help. We stayed as there was no where else to go. Things broken in the unit Mould in the bathroom Ants in the kitchen No outside light for the stairscwe had to use to get to our room at night.

The rooms were very clean, our room was perfect for two people. Had a nice queen size bed in one bedroom and a connecting bathroom which was really clean. Also had a very nice kitchen setup with a stovetop and microwave for cooking meals. Reception was also really nice! Really good cheap prices, if you just want something cozy and convenient and don't wanna spend too much it's a great place. Also right across the street from the grocery store which makes meals alot easier

We couldn't get the stovetop to work, however we didn't know if the stovetop was just broken or if we just didn't know how to use it correctly - it was one of those induction stove tops.

Location was close to Takapuna CBD, beach and Bruce Mason Centre and right opposite Countdown which was handy. Unit was had plenty of space for a family. Plenty of off street parking as well.

No rubbish bin in bathroom. Bin in main area was small for a family. No towel rail to hang our towels.

Good for the price

The property was good for the value. The bed is quite short so take that into consideration if you are a tall person. The location is great right next to countdown and in a nice quiet place. Overall we enjoyed it!

Only thing that we would complain about was that there was someone’s leftovers and half drunken coke in the fridge.
