Exceptional!

Spacious room with a sea view, very nice! Good kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dryer which was very convenient. Very quiet so had a good sleep. Staff and owners were very friendly, lots of cafes, restaurants and shops close by and only a five minute walk to a beautiful beach. Swimming pool, gym and sauna and spa pools on site. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Asked for room on 3rd or 4th level we're put on floor 11...husband is caustrophobic thus didn't like the small lifts and key system..would rather use stairs. Asked for view of sea..placed on south side..apartment very small. Guest had to show us how to use lifts..pity staff didn't give practical display

Relaxing family time.

Great location in Orewa. We enjoyed use of the pool and the beds were comfy. Good to have a kitchen for making dinner some nights with supermarkets within walking distance. However if you want to dine out this was handy to the accomodation too.

The bathroom floor needed a deep clean.

Ideal staycation

Friendly reception staff happy to allow us to check in early. Tastefully decorated, spacious apartment. Great to have ocean view. Comfortable beds. Huge TV with lots of channels available. Well equipped kitchen with added bonus of dishwasher. Laundry facilities. Excellent parking facilities. Gorgeous pool. All areas clean and well maintained.

Fantastic stay, beautiful location.

We got upgraded and it was amazing! The views were to die for, apartment was beautifully furnished and spacious, pool and hot tubs were great too. Parking was easy and Freda was lovely at check in.

Unfortunately only 1 thing spoiled our stay after check out. I left my expensive hair straighteners behind in bathroom cupboard, called once home and no one could find them. Tainted the end of a wonderful stay just a little bit, as you would expect housekeeping to be honest.

Everything was great. Prime location to everything (supermarkets, cafes, beach, walking distance to McDonalds and subways, dominions on the same block as you) Parking included which was good. Sauna is the best hotel sauna I’ve experienced in NZ so far. Make sure to book a sea view room, it’s the best

Incredible view, apartment needs a lot of TLC

The view was spectacular

Very dated inside. Needs a lot of TLC. Window seals need replacing. Any wind makes a very loud squealing sound coming from the windows. We had to have all the windows open at all times to stop the noise. The apartment itself was dirty. Both showers had black mould at the base, kitchen bench was sticky when we arrived, dust on surfaces. No cleaning products available (bench spray etc). Was very disappointed considering the price of the apartment.

we loved our stay, second time we have stayed here, its a good 4 to 5 star place

perfect location, lovely studio room, great car parking. we had fresh towels and room cleaned which was really nice. washing machine and dryer was a bonus. beautiful pool wish it had been a nicer day, i would have so used it ! really lovely. Staff were lovely, it really is a very beautiful place.

we felt very warm in the room, was there air con? i must admit there was a fan in the cupboard i saw this morning, could have used that. How about a bottle of dish washing liquid and 2 tea towels, i always do my dishes but i really dont like these little plastic things that hold a wee bit of liquid. An oven or air fryer would have been great

Lovely relaxing accomodation which was clean and felt very safe. Really centrally located.

Great location. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. There was a lovely clean pool and hot tubs. The views were amazing. Beach was very close by and lovely to walk. Plenty of cafes/ coffee shops and grocery and restaurants within easy walking distance. Good covered parking.

A lovely treat, ideal before / after an Auckland flight to break the drive north.

Loved the location with shops and cafes nearby. We had an upper floor so there were good views of the area. It was a chilly wet evening so we didn't walk down to the nearby gorgeous Orewa Beach. The room was spotless and had everything that we needed for one night. Having a stove-top and fridge was part of the reason we booked so that we could prepare our own food but there is actually minimal space for that had we been planning to stay longer.

I would suggest that the parking level number be painted on the wall at each end of the garage and/or outside the elevator (especially since the parking space numbers seem to be random) as it can be hard to get your bearings, especially on the first visit.

Great place for a stop over

Great place for an overnight stop over. Really large studio apartment. King size bed. Good size bathroom, walk-in shower, and washing machine and drier. Small kitchenette, and small balcony.

Bathroom floor was polished tile, so slippery when wet. The balcony was too small to sit in. Standing room only.

Great location, pricey for a basic room.

Lovely pool. Great views. Lovely location. Comfy beds

Bathroom (especially shower) unclean. Grout and silicone in need of redoing. Owners both grumpy over the phone. No out of hours help to get a cot for our baby - and charged extra for it the next day. For the price paid, I could stay at a 5* luxury spot such as Park Hyatt and have a much better experience with more professional staff manner. Apartments were bare white walls with no personality. The basics only.

Location was great. Close to shops, cafes, supermarkets & the main strip ! Could walk everywhere. Pool & spa were amazing. Every time we swam we had the pool + spa too ourselves. Room was lovely & warm , breeze was beautiful from the balcony. Gym was enough to get a nice workout in too & the walk around the hotel gardens was nice too

It was a wonderful experience

I got to your hotel tired and sunburned after being in a car 7.5 hours today The manager lets us in after check in time not a problem for him at all very helpful. I walked in sat and thought how wonderful is this place. English breakfast tea pure Ceylon tea packed in Sri Lanka drank in a nice cup. Sugar, tea bags, good coffee bags, salt , pepper everything you need to make breakfast or dinner supplied. High quality towels sit on a heated towel rack The floor in the bathroom I think is heated. A washing machine a dryer and the hand soap and shampoo and conditioner I want to buy it . Oh it says a lot about people that get hospitality this right In my opinion I think looking after your customers like this shows that there is a genuine care beyond profit with your hotel. I thank you so much for supplying this to us after a long few days Oh and the bed it was wonderful I slept like a baby Thank you Pauline Savelberg

Perfect family-friendly stay in Orewa

- Spacious 2-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, washing machine and dryer (really appreciated the full-size toiletries in the bathrooms and the sachets of laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent) - Clean and very comfortable, perfect for our family of 4 to spread out and relax in our own space (and to converge to watch tv in the comfy couches in the living area) - Heated floors in the bathrooms! - Lovely view of the beach and sea from balcony (stayed in a Deluxe apartment on Level 12) - Large heated swimming pool and two hot tubs, all were wonderfully warm despite chilly and windy spring weather - Small but well-equipped gym - Secure undercover parking included in room rate - Beach, supermarkets and a good variety of restaurants and cafes within 5min walk - Kindly accommodated our request for a late check-in (and we arrived quite late thanks to a flight delay)

Only minor quibbles: - No blackout curtains in bedrooms (was a wee bit bright in the morning when we were suffering from jet lag) - Beds were a little on the soft side (I prefer a firmer mattress, but my daughter found it super comfy)
