Excellent. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Auckland is nice to see the innercity in one day. This hotel is medium but sufficient for one night.

The view was nice

The reception was unattended on arrival, had to call and wait 5 minutes for someone to arrive to check in. Hotel is tired and dated and not well attended. No coffee tea or anything else in the kitchen, tv did not work after spending half an hour trying I gave up. The one staff member was inattentive and off site and not answering help phone.The “Sunset lounge “ was uninhabitable and unstaffed and looked like a homeless shelter. No coffee facilities on site or even a sachet in the room. The decrepit and worn out massage chair was the only redeeming feature of the room. A Valentine’s Day disappointment.

Great value and good alternative to staying in the city centre.

Huge 2 bed apartment room very good value for the price we paid. Great location about 8 mins walk to the Bayswater ferry straight in to downtown Auckland. Accommodation was a bit tired and basic but very comfortable, great shower and there was a washing machine in the bathroom!! A great alternative to staying in the city centre with a car.

There was some building work going on and the security doors for the main hotel corridors were wedged open so the security was slightly dubious but we didn’t feel unsafe.

Exceptional Auckland harbour view

Great location, easy access to Devonport and town. We got an upgrade to our room which we could see the beautiful Auckland harbour view from the best angle. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

There were lights in the room not working and the door in the single room access to the balcony needed repairing.

Brilliantly clean and tidy, friendly helpful staff, great location, awesome place to stay

Friendly staff, super clean rooms, easy to find, great parking, lovely location

Would be even better if the restaurant was able to open and the temporary fencing at the back was sorted. Neither of those things really bothered us hugely though to be honest.

It was well named as executive suite.

Lots of space, sea view with little balcony

No chairs to put clothes on in the bedroom. The layout of the bedroom was awkward... the person sleeping on the right side of the bed had to negotiate getting through a very small gap, around the corner of the bed in order to access the ensuite toilet during the night.

The place is a bit run down but i think they're working on it, lots of potential. It's a long drive to the city especially if you hit traffic but its walking distance to the ferries that will take you to multiple parts of the city.

An enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The room was well equipped and clean. The room came with a balcony, and both the living area and bedroom had a view of the harbor. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. I was able to secure a late check out to 1pm for a small fee.

I had a car and although I was expecting that I would have access to a car park on site, all carparks were full. I was however able to park on the street in a well-lit area.

Quiet and Comfortable

We've stayed here before and it's our go-to place when we need to be in the area. Good parking, fair sized rooms, a kitchen, clean and comfortable. Even a small view of the harbour bridge from the lounge.

Room smelled stuffy and we had issues with the microwave.

The location, the shower and bathroom

The cockroaches were crawling along the fridge, kitchen benches, lounge floor. The rooms smelt damp.

Tidy comfortable room. Nice and quiet. However the shower fittings require maintenance due to rust.

The room was comfortable and spacious with a good view of the city.

The hotel is looking a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. Fittings in the shower are rusted and should be replaced. It would be nice if the restaurant and bar would open again. The two restaurants and the upstairs bar just look derelict these days when they used to be such nice spaces to enjoy a meal and a drink.

Location and price of the property were excellent. Large spacious room was also a bonus.

Could not watch tv was missing the skybox or Freeview box so tv just had a black screen, had to get moved from first room as was issue with the toilet, we ended up checking out early and rebooking another place to stay so lost money
