Great location, run by great staff

The location was great just a short walk to the town/restaurants and the staff were lovely very helpful. Would stay again.

It was a little bit too warm in the double bedroom. The aircon unit was is the living area and because of the type of window in the bedroom I didn’t like to keep it open at night as it opened onto the walkway.

Super comfortable stay in a really handy location .

Very spacious room and great size beds, super comfy pillows. Owner was very considerate and really helpful as was up there for surgery . Great location to shops, supermarket and beach close by.

I’d and credit cards required before booking was accepted. This is not how Nz motels roll. The Asian policies are uncomfortable. I stay in motels regularly and don’t like demands like this made.

What a beautiful location. With both a major Woolworths Supermarket and Shore City less than 5 minutes walk with the beach and Lake just beyond. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. The rooms are well apportioned and beds amazing. Some even came with cooking facilities and lounge furniture. Any issues or special requests we had were dealt with by staff when available. As reception is only open until 6.30 pm.

all one bedroom apartments are accessed up a single flight of external stairs. And their showers have a small step to get into which can be a hazard when wet for elderly.

Lovely central clean unit which catered well for 3 people, along g with lovely hosts.

Cleanliness, wifi, netflix, and stove top, having 2 beds for grand daughters. I always stay with you for this reason.

Just needed bit more toilet paper for 3 people ... I had spare in my car.

It would be ok for one night but not four.

The location was near to wedding reception we attended, Super Market and restaurants. We used a voucher to get 10% off our restaurant meal (although we were not told about this on arrival and had to go and ask for vouchers)

We didn’t like the bathroom facilities being near the kitchen. The sliding door kept falling off. The welcome was more business like and not the usual warm kiwi welcome. The pictures on the wall are fading. Fridge was not turned on and we didn’t realise until day three. Some noise from upstairs rooms. The plants at the entrance need cutting back so they don’t stay the car. No information manual apart from local restaurants.

OK for a night but not very near hospital as I thought when I made the booking.

I forgot my soap so it would have been good to have a small piece of soap in the bathroom. Very badly signposted. I drove around the block 3 times before I saw the sign on the side of a fence that you would only see if you were coming towards it. I came form the opposite direction and missed it completely and so did my grandson who came to pick me up for dinner. There could easily be one in lights on the front of the buolding beside the office facing on Shakespeare (???) Street (the main street). I am sure it would bring in more custom.

Excellent, highly recommend and we would love to stay again some time soon

Warm cozy, had all the amenities, plenty of milk for hot drinks, soaps and hairdryer, all round, we enjoyed or stay very happy Only 5 min walk to the concert we felt safe walking up the street at night, nice quiet room we slept well

It had the comforts of home, beds and pillows super comfy. A good size unit with desk, smart TV, aircon/heat pump. Kitchenette & Bathroom well stocked. I was super happy to find a disposable comb/brush combo in the vanity unit as I had forgot my brush. Staff members very friendly and accommodating as I needed a late checkout and invoice emailed to me.

5 star bed, linen & provisions… in a 3 star setting.

We stayed in ground unit 5. The bed & pillows were of 5 star motel standard. Extremely comfortable. The towels were thick, fluffy & white. Great TV & channels. The unit was very clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk sachets available in the communal kitchen to help yourself. The unit had everything you could want. Very happy.

The laundry needs to open longer than 9am-6.30pm & should be free, considering the cost of the room. The hours of 7am - 8.30pm would suit tourists better, giving us time before we venture off for the day & upon returning at night, to do our laundry. The outside of the units & the laundry floor, needs a deep clean with a blower. Lots of feathers etc. A little further to walk to beach, than I thought. The unit was a little overpriced. Cr card fee should have been included in the room cost.

Good parking, handy to shopping , clean and good toiletries and towels etc

Badly maintained furniture and beds. Bed duvet wrong size (way too small) on king bed. Rubbish around the premises there for the whole 5 days we stayed. Daily service only was changing the bathroom and kitchen linens, and emptied rubbish bins, nothing else. No beds tided or sweep or vacuum.
