Could be a little cleaner in bathroom just a few hairs etc... but nothing bad.

Room was very comfortable and clean . Bar and restaurant areas lovely . Breakfast was great .
We went for a 60th birthday as a group of 6, dinner bed and breakfast . 3 of our main courses were poor , extremely small portions and bland. After complaining these were taken off the bill . Very disappointed that there was no acknowledgment or special touches for birthday - even a happy birthday greeting , a card , chocolates, wine etc . We spent a lot of money in the hotel and did not feel we were treated in any way specially. They even had to be reminded to bring out the cake I’d provided . I spoke to reception on check out who agreed she would get manager to contact me - have heard nothing.
