Another great stay at the Hillyard, service is excellent especially the girls who were on breakfast service Saturday and Sunday. Room great, bed comfortable and immaculate bathroom which has my favourite shower. Dinner at hotel was again excellent but the cheesecake was one of the best desserts I have ever had. Singer on Saturday evening entertainment was very good and hope she is back again when we are there. Booked again for 2 weeks time!

I liked the location, the employees the bar and the dining room. The food was excellent - as was the Guinness!
Very limited parking outside (no carpark). My room smelled of stale tobacco. It was pretty basic. I did not realise that I'd have to request housekeeping! I get that some guests might NOT want their rooms refreshed. But a policy of 'if you don't ask - you won't get' is a bit of an oddity. Finally, if there is live music in the bar, please turn the TV off - it is a distraction and disrespectful to the artist.
