It’s a lovely hotel, great location, easy to find. Food was nice too.

My tv wasn’t working well. Manager came to change batteries in the remote but still it didn’t work. Slept without watching a movie 😩

Great spacious room, lovely and friendly staff. Very comfy bed. Tasty food in the restaurant and also very nice offering for breakfast.

One tiny thing, the place is big and available for renting for parties, and there was a party when I was there. The music was quite loud and going on until 1am.

The receptionist was such a lovely lady! The room was warm, lovely and bright. Very clean and very comfortable bed

The shower wasn't hot enough for me. And French toast was just white sliced pan fried in egg. I thought for a hotel they would use a different type of bread.

Overall we are disappointed with our stay here and with the response from hotel when contacted about

Unfortunately this is the second time our stay here has not met our expectations or standards. The shower took over 5minutes to get to warm- not hot! The tiles were dirty and there was mould in the shower. We rang down to reception twice and nobody came up. We were meant to be upgraded to a superior room due to issues on our last stay and our room was no different to a regular room. Unfortunately I'm not sure we will stay here again even though it is location suits us alot

Clean , pleasant and good breakfast. Christmas decor was outstanding.

Perfect location for our Christmas night away which was nearby.

Disappointed that we had no residents bar at 00.30 and had to go back to our room but other than that it was grand. We like to return earlier to hotel as taxis are hard to get at Christmas time and have a nightcap there.

Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good.

Ground floor close to restaurant so a little noisy. Disabled accessible ensuite given, which wasn't required and smelt musty. No tea or coffee was left. The receptionist on check in wasn't very friendly, but the breakfast waitress was lovely and checkout receptionist was friendly.

The hotel was fine,

Didn’t like that the room was cold, hot water for the shower was only like warm and the reception staff on the Sunday morning was rude! I said that we were up till after 1.30 with the noise from the Christmas party, i was told eh not my hotel don’t know what you want me to do about it, I understand their would’ve been some noise but I felt the party was in the bedroom

Only one criticism is that the hotel did not have a lift to the rooms, which are on the first floor. Access is by stairs only, so wheelchair users will have problems. ♿️

My girlfriend and I liked the room. It is quite spacious, and so was the bathroom. The room was clean and had coffee/tea making facilities. I needed the TV to watch a football match and was able to link it to my laptop with no issues. There were night stands on both sides of the bed, and some hangers. Liked pretty much everything about the room. The dinner on the night was decent and better than in many other hotels we stayed at in Ireland. We were impressed with the choice of food available. We also enjoyed the breakfast, where the tea/coffee and hot dishes are served by two lovely young girls. The breakfast room is spacious and there is enough room between tables.

We had to wait for an extremely long time to have our orders taken during the dinner. But the absolute worst was the lack of noise cancellation within the hotel. The hotel has two function rooms, both of which were used on the night of our stay. I am a light sleeper, whereby this was a major disappointment. It felt as though our room was directly above a nightclub. The walls were literally bouncing and I am not sure how anyone could sleep in those conditions. When I went to the reception at around 23:30 to ask what time the music was going to stop at, I was asked what room I was staying at and advised that the music I can hear comes from those two function rooms. The guy said it was going to stop at around 01:00 in the morning. There was no acknowledgment of it being a bother to hotel guests or any type of even a fake apology. I thought it was ludicrous that they charge people £150 a night and essentially ask guests not to sleep until 01:00 am. There should be a warning about this on their website, on their booking.com page, and certainly guests should be advised of this at the check-in. I understand that they are trying to make money, but this should not be done at the expense of their guests' comfort.

Although the restaurant is very successful, which is always a plus, if you turn up at the wrong time of the day, usually in the afternoon, you won’t find a parking spot easily, or at all. The internet signal is very weak in the rooms at the front, the ones with balconies. None of my phone or ipad would stay connected for longer than a minute. As soon as you’d start browsing, they’d disconnect.

Really disappointed ☹️

Very little....

Had to go through the restaurant and up stairs to get to the room. Bed very high up, difficult to get into....and double bed in small room.. felt claustrophobic. No bedside table. Noise from room next door, kids and adults ...and loud music from either next door or across the hall. I got no sleep whatsoever. I have a list of health issues and had stayed there as I had a hospital appointment the next morning. I will never stay there again.

Room above kitchen and all I could hear was chef shouting ‘service’. Also large extractor fan outside window was very noisy and turned on at 5.55am! Shower tray failed to drain and overflowed.
