Wonderful stay at the remarkable at La Maison d’Hôtes Nantes Centre!

We had a spacious room with a nice view of the garden. The Maison d’Hôtes centre Nantes is ideally located, close to the train station and a tram stop, along with restaurants and cultural sites. The breakfast was perfect, with yoghurt, fruit and fruit juice, bread and a choice of coffee or tea. But best of all, the hostess is an absolute gem with excellent advice about restaurants, various cultural activities, and an abundance of kindness.

Wonderful Building, very kind owner and excellent breakfast (rich and delicious), with an amazing back garden.

The parking is a bit difficult. Highly advised to go there with no car or, if needed, absolutely to be booked in advance.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Guest House

This is an exceptional guest house. Marie-Claude provides a warm welcome and provides great information for visiting Nantes, which we really enjoyed. The guest house location is excellent, just a quick walk to the train station and adjacent to the castle. Wonderful breakfast including homemade yogurt and jam. The house has been lovingly restored while keeping many of its original features. Our room was large and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Our best stay in Nantes

The breakfast was excellent, with freshly made coffee, and orange juice. There was home made jam and yogurt to accompany the baguette and pastries The bedroom was large with high ceilings, and a comfortable bed. There were internal shutters to block out light and sound, and the room was amazingly quiet. The house, which goes back to the 18th century, is centrally located a close to many cafes, restaurants and shops, and within easy walking distance from the railway station. It has a beautiful garden but the weather during our visit was not conducive to sitting outside. It would be wonderful in later spring and summer. Finally, the hostess, Marie-Claude was accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed her company and her beautiful home.

The shower was perfectly good [warm water straight away with good flow], but a bit on the small side. The range of toiletries was good.

Superb B&B in Nantes

Beautifully appointed B&B in a perfect location by the castle and an easy walk from the train station. Large, comfortable room. Kind and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with homemade jams and yoghurt, warm croissants, fruit and fresh bread each morning in the garden. A very relaxing stay.

terrific B&B in a beautiful city

we enjoyed talking to the Marie-Claire, the owner, who was a gold mine of information about Nantes and it’s history. the rooms were all pleasant, comfortable and modern while preserving their old world charm. parking in the courtyard was limited but available with advance notice and a little extra cost. breakfast was served family-style around the dining room table and the other guests were interesting to talk to. breakfast included home made yogurt and jams, fruit, croissants, coffee, etc. Marie-Claire has been running her B&B for a long time and she is a real “people person “. This was one of our nicest stays ever. Nantes was lovely, too, which added to the charm.

Very good location, perfect for someone who needs to stay close to the “Cité des Congrès”. The hostess is lovely and very welcoming, always willing to have a chat about the city. The room was calm, really comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast.

Lovely old home with beautiful garden on cobble-stoned street only a ten-minute walk from the train station. Lovely host shared great information on visiting Nantes and offered a sumptuous traditional French breakfast. Access to the gated property and main entrance was easy.

Charming Historic Townhouse: Like Visiting A Friend

This is essentially a luxury B&B. A tastefully renovated old townhouse with character and a very welcoming host. It is incredibly quiet despite being central to all the key sites in Nantes (Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, Chateau, Cathedral etc) and 5 mins from TGV station. My room was very large, bright and airy with a super comfortable mattress and beautiful garden view. Nice French breakfast (including fresh fruit cocktail & brown bread) and excellent coffee of course. My host negotiated a taxi run out of town for me.

No wifi in bedroom but worked fine in sittingroom.

Perfect spot to stay for a short stop in Nantes

Welcoming host, and a good sized room for our family of four which was well prepared for our short stay. Basic tea/coffee making facilities available, and a comfortable bed. Location was excellent and parking close by was very handy - organise in advance to make for a smooth arrival.

Wir haben drei Nächte in einem schön eingerichteten chambre d'hôte im Haus von Mme Lainé verbracht mit Blick in einen schönen Garten. Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war großartig und die intelligenten Gespräche mit ihr waren wunderbar und sehr informationsreich. Der Parkplatz direkt am Haus ist sehr vorteilhaft, das Frühstück war sehr gut und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus liegt direkt am Zentrum von Nantes, trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig und durch die Straßenbahnen konnten wir alle interessanten Ziele der Stadt einfach und schnell erreichen. Alles in allem empfehlen wir diese Adresse als ausgezeichnete Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Nantes. Ellen und Jochen

Un oasis de tranquilidad.

Su situación fantástica. El jardín, un oasis dentro de la ciudad. Todo lo que hay que ver está a dos pasos. La propietaria un encanto. Muy buen desayuno. Por cierto, si quieres aprender francés o practicar, el desayuno ayuda con la conversación que te da la propietaria.

Me gustó todo. Ninguna pega, nada fuera de su sitio. Hasta el gato estaba relajado...

Le lieu est très beau et très bien entretenu. C’est très bien placé par rapport à la gare et aux quartiers sympas du centre-ville. La propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillante. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait.

Je suis venu en voiture. Heureusement qu’elle n’est pas trop grande car j’ai pu me garer mais les places sont limitées.

Posizione perfetta, camera ampia e silenziosa, ottima colazione, ospitalità calorosa e gentile.

Il lavandino in camera è un po' scomodo, il bagno molto piccolo. Il posteggio in loco è fondamentale ma complicato fare le manovre.

Escapada tranquila

La senyora és encantadora, molt atenta i agradable. Les habitacions grans i confortables. L'esmorzar molt bo en productes fet per ella. La melmelada de figa, espectacular. El lloc molt ben situat a prop de tot i pots arribar desde l'aeroport amb la Navette que et deixa molt a prop de la casa. Si torno a Nantes tornaria al mateix lloc.

Per dir alguna cosa, a l'esmorzar hi posaria dos talls d'embotit, però realment no cal.
