A great stay in Nantes

Comfy bed, great breakfast and excellent location

I’m not a fan of bathrooms ‘in’ the bedroom or of the glass and slatted louvre door style walls, or having to step through the shower to the toilet and basin area - but it was only for one night.

Room was cold, heating seemed to be broken in the hotel. First room I checked into the heating didnt work at all, second room the same. 3rd room, the fan worked but never heated up.

Very nice experience close to city center

The breakfast was very good! Great choice between sweet and salty dishes, scrambled eggs and pastry. The really nice thing about the hotel is the lounge area though. It is accessible all day and has coffee, tea and biscuits. They serve an Apèro before dinner and the staff is available at the reception.

Actually, everything was very nice. If something, the way the bathroom/shower is constructed is may be worth rethinking (as other guests have noted, the shower comes before the toilet, so the floor gets wet). Nevertheless, I would gladly book again!

Fantastic location, walking distance from the train station, and meters away from the heart of the city.

Disappointing & over-rated

Good location. Quiet room. Quirky room lay-out though not that practical and definitely not a 4 star.

Returned day 2 at 6pm to find room was not serviced. ‘No service staff available now’ & room move ‘out of question’. Receptionist gave us fresh towels and told us we had to ‘bring up yourselves as I’m not allowed to leave reception area’. So what happens in an emergency? At checkout next day advised that I should have read info on room servicing provided either in the room or online - there is none I could find except a Do Not Disturb door note which we don’t use as went out for the day.

Excellent.

Very clean hotel and very convenient, the lounge facilities were excellent we had a lovely hour of relaxing 5-6pm before catching our taxi back to the airport. The receptionist Florian was excellent he gave us some great tips for some sight seeing in Nantes.

A very good option for a visit to downtown Nantes

Excellent location - near the rail station and next to the city centre. Friendly staff and efficient check-in/out. Decent sized rooms with standard amenities. Coffee, water and some juices are included in the reservation. Nice and relaxing club room.

Strange bathrooms - you have to go through the shower to get to the toilet. Somewhat small reception, which can get crowded.

Comfy and clean, plus excellent service.

The bed was super comfy. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I loved the breakfast and the club area which is open 24/7 with hot and cold drinks for no extra charge.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was the strange design of the bathroom which is see-through. Though you won’t be able to see your partner’s bottom part from inside the room, you will be able to see them sitting on the toilet.

a small boutique hotel in the heart of Nantes

- excellent location in the down-town of Nantes - nice club system for snaking and drinks - comfortable beds - positive staff - good selection of snacks and excellent breakfast

- the rooms are quite small - the arrangement of the bathroom and toilet being adjacent to the shower cabin is not the most comfortable especially when 2 persons are sharing a room - the bathroom is very small - some of the designs elements of the room are not very safe due to edges - the sauna which was booked in advance was not heated up
