Good apart from heating

staff very pleasant, breakfast exceptional, great location . Rooms very "steam punk " if you like that sort of thing . I presume in homage to Jules Verne on the Iles de Machines nearby

Nice hotel, I've stayed many times but in January last the room was cold and in the morning no hot water for the shower . Apologies given but no recompense. I have had a similar experience elsewhere in January . In your hotel is open it should be heated properly , cost savings no doubt but it shoudn't impact on guests

Good stay, lovely staff and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western. The rooms are on the small side and felt a bit cramped and dated, but were very clean. Overall, the rooms were as expected for a 3-star hotel. Very well located though, so worth compromising on room size. The best thing about the stay was the staff, who were wonderful, so welcoming and helpful.

Really helpful for bike-packers and great location

The staff were lovely and stored our bikes securely. The room had good airconditioning - essential as it was 40 C outside! The breakfast was nice, although the yogurt I chose was out of date.

Pleasant stay with a great location

I loved the character of the room. Ours was a corner room with windows facing out on a couple of angles. The common room on the ground floor has comfortable chairs and a chilled water and sparkling water dispenser for drinking there or to carry a flask to your room. We used and enjoyed that a lot! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel feels relaxed and interesting with the Jules Verne theme.

The only tricky part might be using the shower without splashing water outside the bath. But it wasn’t a big deal.

Great location but filthy

Location

The bedroom was filthy. There were hairs all over the sheets. There were a few red or brown spots smeared on the wall. There was dirt that clearly was over by the window there for a very long time and lots more dirt on the radiator. In short it was absolutely disgusting. We were shocked by this level of filth. We had to move to a different room which was better but not the standard you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The carpet on the floor was old, stained and dirty looking as well as along the hallways. I can only upload 4 images but I have lots more of the dirty room. Shocking!

Nice interior, top location (quiet but just a few meters away from the the buzzling center), very friendly staff, clean rooms.

Almost perfect, one of the rooms could have been a bit bigger, but I guess because it’s an old building it’s not so easy ;) besides this a lovely stay

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location.

Location was very good, walkable and good transport links. Room was quiet but small for two people. Staff were helpful and friendly. I had trouble with the key to my suitcase and the staff were exceptionally helpful over that.

A pity that the light/express breakfast was only available after 10 o'clock - the website said it was available earlier.

Great location and very comfortable room. The staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciated the air conditioning being on before I arrived as it was a heat wave when I travelled.

There was no shower in the room, only a bath. It didn’t bother me as I enjoy bathing but maybe someone who prefers to shower should request a shower. It was quite expensive for the hotel and I was expecting a bit more value for money.

Excellent stay

The room was ample, clean, and comfortable. Above all, it was calm. The shower was good as well.

I stayed only one night and could have slept longer but had to check out (at 11:30 a.m.). It was just so nice and quiet I could have stayed there longer!

The hotel was excellent

We arrived on Saturday. Ee parked on the parking lot next to the hotel. ON Sunday there is a market, our car was towed. It would have been very helpful if the receptionist would have told us about the market. Would save the morning and 200 euros.

Nice interior decoration

Stuffy room - no AC! Woke up to the small of bacon!!! The kitchen fan leaked into my room. Passive aggressive staff denied all and treated me beow all expectations. Had to hade my clothes in the bathroom to save them. I travel every week - this is a new all time low.

Nailed what a hotel should nail

Everything was very good, the bed was big and comfortable, the staff was very polite and friendly, everything was very clean. My kid really enjoyed the very well configured chrome cast on the large TV so I could play his favourite cartoon without having my phone busy.

Couldn’t set the AC temperature, which could get a bit hot inside at times, but could always open the window. The shower was just ok, an Italian shower would have been a very nice addition. A minifridge would have been most welcomed too.
