Liked the apartment but the hot water issue spoiled things a bit.

Good space with an en-suite in every room.

Unfortunately the hot water failed on the 2nd day out of three so no showers and only cold water out of the taps....not great with 6 adults and 2 young kids in February. The owners did give us access to rooms at the small hotel next door which was appreciated. The hot water was returned late that night but not enough to allow 6 adults showering in the morning. There wasn't any dish towels or kitchen cloths supplied and the apartment only had electric convector type radiators so we couldn't dry towels easily. There was no heating in the kitchen or in one of the bedrooms although a portable radiator was supplied. The apartment was a bit tired and could do with a revamp.

fabulous very enjoyable and relaxing

location was ideal, views were amazing, facilities had everything you would require, very comfortable

The cooker and oven seemed a little tempremental but eventually we got them to work, couldnt find a can opener but maybe that was our fault in not looking hard enough, but if this was our only complaint thats a great review, there are some noise issues from the bar downstairs, but what would you expect from living above a pub so we decided to join the noise and enjoyed the company of the locals and a few drinks

Beautiful scenery from the sitting room.

Heater was not working and replaced with standalone heaters which were not warm enough. Kitchen equipment were not sufficient for a large group. Good if we have more information about places to explore near by

Good location, flat was clean with great views

I should have checked the listing as the flat is directly over a very busy pub. It would be ideal for a young group but terrible for a family stay. We were disturbed until gone 1am with “happy hardcore “ and noisy revellers. The welcome was also non existent from the staff. They were very busy and clearly focussed on the pub. Miserable and not very welcoming on arrival.

Great location and a very comfortable stay

The property was very spacious and comfortable. We had a choice of 5 bedrooms, 4 of which had their own en suite. The views of the top of the loch were nice and relaxing. We went to the pub downstairs and had a drink and something to eat, and we enjoyed our time there as well. The rooms themselves were quiet, the beds comfortable, and we heard no noise from the pub at all.

Great place to stay.

Easy to check in at the bar downstairs. There's no main bathroom but every bedroom has its own en-suite which was great. One bedroom had a twin bedroom attached. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, spotlessly clean, very well equipped, plenty of parking, very spacious.

The only negative was we set off at 8am and weren't sure what to do with the key when leaving so I left it hidden and messaged the owner. It wasn't an issue.

Spacious, great for groups

Spacious apartments for our large family. We took all 5 rooms upstairs which had a shared kitchen and living room so perfect for us. Great view over the water. Has all the aminities including dishwasher and washing machine.

Rooms on road side can be noisy due to cars and pub downstairs. Hot water can be on and off, staff had to boost the boiler couple of times

Overall, the property met the needs of our large party, albeit with some late night noise issues.

The property was in a great location with some excellent views. .There was plenty of room for our large group and all the bedrooms had en-suite facilities. On our arrival it was clean and tidy. There were eight of us in our group and nobody had any issues with the facilities provided.

The property is situated above a pub and on the night we booked (Friday) there was loud music being played in the evening. We were aware the property was above a pub, so it was not unreasonable to anticipate some noise. However, the music continued to around midnight and there was still a lot of noise/disturbance until past 1:00am. If you are a light sleeper then ear plugs would certainly be beneficial. We were only booked for one night so we are unable to confirm whether this was a one off, or a more regular occurrence.

Spacious flat with a gorgeous view

Very spacious flat in a fabulous location with amazing views. Food in the pub downstairs is nice -especially the pakoras. It isn’t that clear in the booking info but the flat has five bedrooms (4 doubles and one twin that is accessed via one of the double rooms).there are also four en-suite bathrooms - but this does mean if you had people staying in the twin they would have to go into the double bedroom to use the bathroom. I think this is why it is suggested as a kids room but actually the beds are full size so if you don’t mind the shared bathroom/bedroom access then ten people could comfortably stay in the flat

A bit noisy - you can hear a lot of road noise and noise from the pub. Wasn’t ready when we arrived - we arrived at 3.15 ( check in from 3pm) but the flat was still being cleaned and wasn’t ready for another 30mins -not a big deal as it was nice weather and we could sit outside but I don’t think the arrival time was passed on to the host by booking.com so communication could be improved

All of our group had a great weekend celebrating special birthdays .

Location was perfect for us. The younger members of the group enjoyed climbing The Cobbler.We all enjoyed popping down to the pup for lunch or dinner and the food was excellent.We loved the entertainment on Saturday night,excellent singer. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great view but would not return

Large rooms, nice decor and spectacular view from balcony

No hot water until after 10 pm when staff fixed the problem. Located right at the road side and heavy Lorrie’s going past at speed all night. Would benefit from triple glazing. No instructions given, from where to collect keys (eventually had to phone) and none in the building re how to work anything.

Not much parking, we went to the pub on Saturday for live band but if you didn’t you would probably be kept awake by the noise as it’s right below you. It’s a popular pub which is a good thing but we hadn’t booked food and struggled to find a table elsewhere in area too! Tried 2 other places takeaway had 1 hour wait time for food. So make sure you book in advance !

Above a noisy bar with customers talking loudly outside 3 of the bedroom windows often until the early hours and a permanently blocked drain in the car park next to the outside food tables with a slurry residue which remained in situ throughout our 4 night stay

We loved how spacious it was, and the fantastic views, but wish it was slightly cleaner/quieter.

The location was great, with gorgeous, sweeping views out over the loch. The apartment was extremely spacious, and well appointed. There were six of us and we never felt crowded. It was a convenient walk to nearby restaurants, including the one literally downstairs. We loved sitting on the large balcony and having our wine. We had plenty of hot water, and all of the appliances and WiFi worked well. There was also ample parking space available for our van.

There were no check in, or out, instructions provided, but luckily when we arrived and went into the bar downstairs someone was immediately available to take us up to the unit and show us around. The next morning as we were getting ready to leave, someone arrived to open up the bar downstairs and we were able to turn in our keys. Good thing, because otherwise I'm not sure what we would have done with them. The unit itself was not as clean as it could have been: there was a big piece of food on the dining/living room floor, a sticky place on the floor of the kitchen and a dirty towel in one of the bathrooms. Everything else seemed clean, however. Since it is above a bar, it was a bit of a challenge having the window open without getting cigarette smoke in, or listening to patrons. Fortunately, they closed up before too late, which solved the issue. When we ordered food from downstairs, we had to go get it and carry it up on plates ourselves vs. in take out containers.
