Lovely relaxing family holiday.

Extremely quiet location although still close to the village.

Lots of silly things wrong with the cottage/cabin as stated by previous guests. It's a pity someone/owner/caretaker???? Doesn't make the time or the effort to fix the annoying niggles that could be easily resolved.. Get your finger oot....Whoever you are. Could be really lovely.

Lovely property and outside area. Just what we wanted.

The owners were very friendly and helpful with a few questions we had prior to our visit. The property was very well equipped and we appreciated the little welcome treats in the fridge on our arrival. Would definitely go back.

Wish I’d booked longer. Jacuzzi bath tub didn’t work. Downstairs shower a bit old but still OK and functional.

Foxglove cottage was the perfect retreat. The communication was excellent.

We loved the location - in the country but only a short walk into Drymen. Its peaceful and the cottage is ideal for 3 couples. A bonus that its dog friendly. Loved the box of goodies left for us. Thank you.

A good property, let down by a heating issue, standard of cleanliness and state of repair.

Location was peaceful. Cottage was spacious and generally well equipped. A nice touch was the provision of bread, margarine, milk and a bottle of Prosecco.

Heating wasn't working on arrival. Contacted owner but just had to use the single fan heater - 3 double bedrooms were occupied. The next day called again. Someone came during the day and left a second fan heater but the heating still wasn't working when we got back. On Day 3 contacted owner again. The plumber came and did get the heating working. Some items in kitchen dirty; a few kitchen drawers dirty. There was a shortage of dinner knives (only one but then got more from the second cottage we were renting.) Stepped on a piece of broken glass on the kitchen floor - luckily didn't draw blood. The kickboard under the sink and dishwasher kept falling off. The basins in the downstairs bathrooms did not retain water so difficult to wash and shave. One toilet seat needed adjustment; another toilet seemed loose. Two doors downstairs sticking when opening and closing. In the lounge one dining room chair was very wonky and a section of parquet flooring kept coming off. Some ceiling lights weren't working. The side panel of the Jacuzzi bath was insecure. Some drawer fronts in an upstairs bedroom were just barely hanging on. In the other upstairs bedroom a broken ornament had been propped up in an attempt to conceal that it was broken. Reported all to owner.

Great family celebration at Foxglove

The size of the rooms, the space. Lovely decor and furniture. Comfy beds, nice bed linen. En suite on every bedroom. The grounds, seeing all the different birds, deer in the field behind us. The peace and quiet. The little touches, Christmas lights, bread, butter, bottle fizz. What’s not to like.. Planning to come back.

Lovely location for a family get together

The cottages are in a lovely quiet location very near Drymen town. Rooms were clean, spacious and had each bedroom has an en-suite.

We loved our stay and the cottages are fantastic but it just missed out on a 10/10 because of a leak in the kitchen sink and a few loose taps and fixtures in the bathrooms.

Second stay

A brilliant location. Lovely local pub/restaurant owned by the same people in town. Communication was great. Completely comfortable with lots of space for a family. The beds are comfortable with clean sheets. Lovely touch of books in the room and some games in the living space. Wifi and a great selection of apps on the TV. Great kitchen facilities. Lovely views and privacy. Plenty of space for cars. Overall a great second stay.

It was a shame to not recieve the welcome pack of essentials like we did on our last stay, especially since we paid £100 per night more than our last stay. The hamper last time included lots of things to use during our stay, which was both helpful and comforting. We felt like a few things needed repair/ touching up since our last stay, just general wear and tear e.g. broken curtain loops, a break in the downstairs toilet ceiling. Loose decking outside which was a trip hazard, unusable bbq outside etc.

Wonderful, comfortable stay at Foxgloves Cottages!

Wonderful cottage in a stunning location! Close to Drymen and Loch Lomond. Welcome basket on arrival was a lovely touch and enjoyed by all! Pet friendly with fantastic walks nearby. Great communication with hosts previous to arrival so that everything ran smoothly. Underfloor heating was amazing and the whole family had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would highly recommend to all.

Foxglove cottage was very clean and spacious. Communication was excellent throughout. Our host kindly booked a table for our group at The Clachan Inn. The food was excellent and the staff were first class Appreciate the fact that the cottage was dog friendly and no extra costs incurred for the dog

Lovely cottage, peaceful surroundings, within reach of village, very spacious. Everything you need.

Cottage is very spacious and beautifully decorated, kitchen has everything you need, welcome pack was amazing and included wine and a welcome note amongst many other things, location is fab, very quiet around the cottage which was perfect and less than a mile to local village of Drymen which has pubs, hotels, restaurants, takes around 20 min which is a lovely walk. Would definately recommend.

Would just suggest a sign to the cottage at the entrance of the road.

We had a great weekend in an ideal property, and would definitely stay again.

Property was ideal. Plenty of space and loads of thoughtful extras that made all the difference. Welcome pack was great. Met the owners at the nearby Clachan Inn, which they also run, and they were all very friendly and welcoming. Had a nice chat with Elaine.

Magnifique cottage Plusieurs chambres très cosy et confortables plusieurs salle de bains dont une baignoire à bulle qui a été bien appréciée :) Cuisine équipée ( lait beurre confiture... Nous attendait c'était chouette) Plutôt difficile à trouver mais sinon parfait car près du loch Lomond, dans la campagne au calme Je recommande vivement :)
