We loved staying here during our Lyon stop - easy to get around with the funicular close by.

The host is welcoming and thoughtful, very concerned that we were getting around Lyon ok during the strikes. The patio/terrace are is quiet and so peaceful - what a joy to sit outside and listen to the birds. The studio itself is cozy and easy to keep tidy, we were so happy there it was hard to leave and go site seeing!

There are alot of stairs to access the apartment, but that comes with being on the hill! Other than that this place is a gem. You will experience a very unique part of Lyon that is not touristic but not far from anything you want to do.

A spectacular find in a beautiful and relaxing city.

It was truly the most unique place we’ve ever stayed. Meticulously renovated rooms, in a building that—like a lot of places in France—sits on a site once occupied by the Romans. The hosts were just lovely! They treated us to a breakfast of French treats on the first morning—all to die for. A charming private garden is the icing on the cake.

Hidden gem

Beautiful and distinctive apartment with a lovely little garden. The hosts are extremely friendly and nice, giving their help and advice whenever needed. The first morning our host brought us supplies from the boulangerie and there was a wine bottle and other goods waiting for us when we came. We were warmly wellcomed and trieted during our stay. This was an extremely wonderful experience. A home in Lyon. I loved the cat living in the garden😊.

Nice gem near the top of the hill overlooking the Rhone valley.

Nicely remodeled apartment in an old building with a gracious owner who spoke great English. Just 1 block down from the top of the St. Just Funicular so good access to the old town below. Nice private garden with table and chairs for having a meal or just relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine. Although it does not have air-conditioning we needed covers even though the weather was in the high 90's because it is 1/2 underground and has very thick stone walls. Good comfortable bed and very quiet room.

Front door is hard to unlock and there are a lot of stairs to the apartment above.

Charmerende bolig i historik bygning og område, meget centralt og hjælpsomme værter.

Perfekt beliggenhed, dejligt med havneområde og spændende gammel, smukt istandsat bygning. Det ligger en lækker bistro lige på den anden side af gaden og butik med naturvine om hjørnet. Lejligheden var meget nem at komme til, taxa kunne parkere lige uden for døren og absolut intet problem at gå op ad de ganske få trapper, værterne var utrolig søde og redte med kort varsel en ekstra seng til vores datter uden beregning. De sørgede for rigelig dejlig morgenmad og friskt brød og kage den første morgen. Vi havde et dejligt ophold og kan anbefale stedet.

Det var en smule mørkt, men jo betinget af, at ligge i en gammel bygning. Vi savnede lidt mere køkkengrej, hvis vi selv skulle have lavet aftensmad. Ellers et fint køkken.

L'atelier de St-Just est vraiment un lieu atypique, avec un superbe jardin en plein cœur de Lyon. Dommage que le temps ne nous ai pas permis d'en profiter plus. L'accueil a été très chaleureux, avec un hôte particulièrement loquace sur les origines et les travaux qui a effectués dans ce lieu et le petit-déjeuner offert pour le premier jour. Son emplacement près du funiculaire St-Just le rend très pratique pour accéder rapidement au vieux Lyon.

On regrettera seulement un équipement un peu juste : un peu plus de vaisselle et d'ustensiles auraient été bienvenus. L'absence de télévision est également dommageable. A noter un accès (escalier) qui pourrait rebuter certains.

Goede ligging op korte wandelafstand van de oude stad. Mooi, karaktervol appartementje, liefdevol gerenoveerd door de eigenaar. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met veel nuttige tips voor ons verblijf in Lyon; Ook ontbijt voorzien voor 1ste ochtend. Lyon zelf is ook zeer de moeite!

Heel klein minpuntje : Een mooi groot kookfornuis, maar zo goed als geen keukengerief om daarvan echt goed gebruik te kunnen maken.

La situation à Fourvière, sur les hauteurs de Vieux-Lyon, à deux pas du funiculaire, est idéale pour rejoindre le quartier historique. Le logement situé sur cour d’une bâtisse ancienne, avec son petit jardin, est charmant, confortable et aménagé avec goût. Les propriétaires sont adorables et aux petits soins.
