Great base for a weekend exploring Lyon

Friendly Staff and Comfortable Experience

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always making me feel welcome. The location is excellent — close to metro and tram and perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was reasonable, with enough options to start the day comfortably. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom and the toilet are separated which is a good point. The room was not small for 3 people was okey. Coffee / the in the room and locker box. Good breakfast.

The location was good, is it was 5 mins out of main city centre, tram and main station

The property and all amenities are a bit tired, dated and dirty. For example, all the carpets need a steam wash. They looked dull and full of dust. The cleaning staff left an old used coffee cup in our room which was still left behind after two room clean services. The bath itself had a massive stain which I had to clean before putting my kids in it. Overall, the shabbiness made me uncomfortable

Comfortable room in a good location, above-average breakfast

Spacious room with a balcony looking over the street. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast with savory items as well as the standard French fare. You can tell they pay a lot of attention to reducing waste at breakfast time, with dispensers for the jams, yogurt, etc. instead of individual containers. Location is good if you don't mind a bit of street noise. We parked right around the corner using meters.

Fake grass on the balcony, with a couple of cigarette stubs that had not been removed before we got there.

Lovely modern hotel within easy reach of public transport.

Spacious clean room with a very comfortable bed and large balcony and seating area. A towel rail in the bathroom which is useful for drying small items. There's a tram stop right outside to take you anywhere and a supermarket very close too. It's a bout a 30 minute walk to get to the main and historic parts of the city.

The only problem for us was the heat throughout the hotel...it was kept far too hot! We had difficulty sleeping at night and tried to put on the air conditioning but this did not appear to work. We ended up having to open the balcony doors which meant noise and mosquitos. The breakfast room was equally insufferably hot.

Lyon in 24 hours

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy. We were able to park our car only a few minutes walk away in secure parking. The breakfast was part of the package and it was great.

During the day the area is busy and fun, but at night some of the locals were a little bit intimidating.

Somewhat good breakfast.

Where to start. We decided to pay extra for the superior room because we liked the pictures. On arrival we got the room on the 3rd floor where the balcony door lock was broken. They then moved us to a lower level room facing the courtyard, it was darker and worn down. The bed sheets smelled of sweat, like an old man had had a nap there. Overall the furniture in the room was old and some things had seen better days, for example the table. Not what we expected fom a 4* hotel and we were left dissapointed with our stay. Would not book again.

Clean and well kept great location close to Tram and metro. Very nice staff nothing too much for them. I booked this for the rugby world cup stay as my other location booked on booking.com was appalling.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

Breakfast was good, and it was close to the tram and easy to get to Vieux Lyon.

I had pre-ordered breakfast for both days but the second day we couldn’t use the vouchers because we had an early train out. I asked for a refund a day ahead, but unfortunately they said they didn’t think they could give me a refund because I didn’t book directly through them.

Wonderful location near the centre of Lyon with easy access to public transport. I loved the view of the park and church from my balcony.

We had a nice balcony, there was no street noise, the location was very easy access from the train.

Our room was a suite, with a second door after the foyer (which contained the toilet, closet and luggage shelf). This made for a very quiet room and easy sleeping.

Perhaps the church bells began a little too early for vacationing!

Great staff, great communication, easy check-in/check-out, close to the train station and very well connected to public transport, 15 min walking distance from the center.

The room was a bit smaller than expected. It does not feel like a 4 star hotel, overpriced breakfast. Poor isolation, you can hear everything through the walls.

kinda sad that this is where I chose for new year vacation.

location is good, near the tram station. and relatively close to city center. staff speaks nice English and are friendly.

the soundproof condition is terrible, I can hear tram downstairs going by every night that I have to use noise cancelation headphones to sleep. the pillow and linen are really thick for me so the bedding product may be just not for me. I couldn’t sleep well at all.
