The location, the flat and the nice breakfast

The location was excellent in the old town. We were all really impressed with how thoughtfully the accommodation had been equipped. Portable air con unit, 2 fans, breakfast, everything clearly signed with instructions (eg how to work shower) - even had Hair straighteners! Very clean with super comfy memory foam mattresses. Also having an interior facing room meant very quiet even with window open for air con pipe. Very good shower. Overall really excellent.

The mezzanine is accessed by very steep stairs/ladder so not for elderly. We had 1st floor room so ok but perhaps request this if you have a lot of heavy luggage or find stairs difficult as it’s a beautiful old building with original narrow winding stone stairs and no lift.

The location was amazing, quiet and walking distance to many of the sights to explore in the old town, many cafes and places to eat close by. If you like a bit of a walk the rest of the city is accessible too. The funicular and metro are a stones throw away for getting up the hill to the basilica or to explore further afield. The staff were very helpful. The apartment is the perfect base camp, it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay!

The bathroom wasn’t immaculately clean, however it wasn’t bad. We had some plumbing issue with the shower but it wasn’t bad resolved quickly.

Really interesting and well maintained old building. The apartment was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. We loved the location - in the old centre but just out of the way of the main tourist areas. We enjoyed the inclusion of breakfast supplies.

The second bedroom was on a mezzanine with a very low roof, and accessible via a ladder, not really suitable for adults. As there is no reception staff, a "chat" service is available but we could not get it to work, so we had to wait until we were home a staff member was there.
