Great location for exploring Lyon

Great location in the centre of Lyon, just a few hundred metres from the metro station and easy walking distance to shopping areas., cafes and restaurants and the old town. The street is a pedestrian area so very quiet at night. We booked a larger room so had ample space for bags etc and a large double bed. Staff were very friendly and polite and very welcoming, and spoke a good level of English. The continental breakfast was good. Room was clean and cleaned and bed made every day.

The bathroom was tiny despite booking a larger room and the shower cubicle door leaked, wetting the bathroom floor. Also a funky smell in the bathroom when we arrived. The WiFi was ok but sometimes dropped out and had to sign back in every day. Bed was a little hard.

The breakfast was good with lovely coffee! Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing in Lyon. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The sink was very small in the bathroom of room 9. No kettle in room 7.

Didn’t take breakfast. Hotel is very nice, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom small but clean and had all that was needed. Staff very friendly, good information provided. Easy walking distance of the old Lyon.

Excellent location. The staff was very nice. The room was clean.

The bed is too small for 2 people, it was impossible to sleep. The entrance is smelly, dark, with some completely wearied carpet on the stairs. Probably this part of the building does not belong to the hotel, but you still have to pass through it to get in. It's quite unpleasant.

Room 9 En-suite shower room cramped and bad layout. Toilet too close to opposite wall, and shelf above basin meant you hit your head on shelf when trying to use basin! Adjustment to en-suite layout would make significant improvement.

Great location. The male staff member who checked us in was especially helpful and kind, and went to great lengths to speak slowly and clearly so that I could practice my French comprehension which was much appreciated. (Staff also speak English but he was happy to let me practice my French). The hotel simple but functional, clean and friendly.

The location of this hotel was perfect! Central to any part of Lyon you may want to explore. The bathroom was fairly modern, the room not so much but it’s perfect for a short stay as you don’t spend much time in the room. For a solo traveler it was perfect. The staff - in particularly one lady- were lovely. She spoke great English and gave me some great recommendations.

Nothing too bad but you can hear a bit of noise from outside as well as other rooms.

The staff was very welcoming. The room exceeded my expectations. It was very quiet even though it looked out over the pedestrian walkway. There was a kettle and coffee/ tea. It was very quiet and I heard no noise from other guests or the street. There were additional blankets and pillows. There was just a very small square of soap and if you stayed longer than a day you needed to ask for additional coffee but that was no problem at all. The beds were made up with new sheets every day. The location was superb. Near the old town, The tourist office, museums and subway connections including a direct route out to the airport. The staff were especially kind and spoke perfect English. I recommend room 14.

Nice small room

Very close by Bellecour metro station. Room nicely decorated and clean. Very friendly staff. They allowed me to keep the luggage after check-out. It was more silent than I expected. Room get completely dark with the outside blinds down!

Hotel did not make the room ready when we have arrived ,also when checking-out the hotel was under construction so we could not find any place to store our luggage but they did not inform us correctly
