Good stay and comfortable!

It’s close to the Metro and tram station which is convenient for us. The drinking water tap at the lobby is lovely and we able to fill our bottle easily. Staff is friendly and the check in/out was simple.

The door of our bedroom door (junior suite) could not be closed and it would be better if it’s fixed.

Bad experience!

Just clean room

When booking through Booking.com, we filtered our search to only show hotels with free private parking, and this hotel was among the first results. However, upon arrival, we found out that the hotel does not have its own parking. The nearest available parking cost €39 per day. We also booked a room for two adults and one child, but when we entered the room, there was no bed for the child—just an unopened sofa, which they told us could not be opened by anyone. After insisting and explaining that we had booked for a child with a proper bed, they finally gave us another room with a bed for the child. Additionally, my wife uses crutches due to a leg injury. While I was parking the car, we asked the staff for help bringing the luggage to the room. Shockingly, they refused and said our 9-year-old son could carry the bags instead. In summary, due to the inaccurate listing (no private parking), inconvenient location, lack of basic hospitality, and unhelpful staff, this hotel is definitely not a place we would ever choose again.

Lyon Easter weekend with family and friends

Very good location. All the main attractions of Lyon were on a reachable distance on foot. Next to tram and metro station. The room was very decent and clean and the staff very helpful. I had a very pleasant stay with family and friends during Easter. I would definitely go again.

Fabulous location next to Perrache train station, the Metro line and walking distance to shops, restaurants and tourist sites This was my second stay at this hotel, and what makes it standout is the super friendly staff!

A great location for a trip to Lyon - a very comfortable stay.

Location was excellent. The rooms had a modern finish which added to the comfort.

An interesting placement of the wall outlets which can impede some travel adapters. Internet speed could be a little quicker.

Comfy bed, great shower. No noise and room made up during the day. Great lighting, air conditioning and spacious. Breakfast is an option if you want it. Hotel is close to Perrache station so easy to get into the city and elsewhere, although also walkable.

Great for a stopover by train otherwise stay elsewhere.

Just a bed and a bathroom. No tea and coffee, dodgy area but close to the station and we rocked in at 11pm with little kids so was handy but if didn’t need something close and quick would go elsewhere.

Pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, near the train station, close to the city centre. It has a garage, which is public, but the hotel offers a bit of discount (18 eur/24h). The room was clean, with enough space, big bathroom and comfortable bed.

well, although the name Ibis Centre suggests a central position in a city the hotel is pretty far from city centre. In case you plan to walk prepare yourself for a long walk to reach down-town. The hotel location is somehow hidden and my friends did some rounds with the late night taxi but is pretty straightforward from Metro/Train station Perrache. We had a room under the roof (6th floor) not really what I was looking for but ca va! The breakfast we had it outside :)

the room under the roof, very small, no face towels, sometimes the noise of trains. never travel during 1 of May in Lyon you might end up with all public transports shutdown completely! (beautiful France unions or no customer/tourism orientation)
