Really spacious property in Peaceful farm countryside
Really spacious, peaceful property with large gardens & parking/BBQ space, located within a working farm. Owners were very quick & helpful in responding to our questions. Great for a week for our large family group to celebrate a special birthday. Some short, very flat😊, lanes for running or walking locally and the local pub does great food. Cosy ground source, underfloor heating & plenty of hot water for showers.
Just minor points, but heating pump was noisy, esp overnight (we reported & owner is looking into this). Some fittings and furnishings need a bit of TLC eg dining chairs with broken springs, chipped crockery, dodgy lamps, missing light bulbs, etc. Also only 1 bin bag provided in small main bin, no options for recycling, etc.

Excellent well equipped house for large family group
The house was ideal for a large family get together of thirteen adults and two toddlers. The photographs of the interior of the house did not do it justice - the house was well decorated and very clean throughout with a large well equipped kitchen. The massive dining room easily seated everybody for family meals. There were plenty of bathrooms with good water pressure and hot water at all times. The hosts Gordon and Jill provided clear information before our visit and were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. There are plenty of places to visit locally and lovely walks from the house located on the working arable farm.The outdoor space was ideal for garden games.
