Wonderfully charming stay at Morton House

The property was charming, it had real character and was very spacious and well furnished. The hotel owners, Columb and Michelle, were extremely helpful both before and during our stay. Overall, we were absolutely delighted thay we chose to go there.

Cottage is well equipped. Its in a good location for all that Masham has to offer including wonderful bakery and walk routes. Also good information for guests.

Fantastic stay at Morton House - highly recommended!

We stayed at Morton House for one night as part of a cycling trip. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed - really comfortable, central location, spacious…. There’s even a piano 🤣. We had a couple of last minute changes to our group numbers and Michelle (the owner) was really understanding and very helpful

Excellent for short break Dales walking holiday!

Central location close to all amenities of Masham. Ideal for walking days around north eastern dales. Convenient for Ripon and Fountains Abbey / Studley Royal. Three good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Parking on road outside.

Very minor point. Asked to strip beds and put used linen in laundry bag. No bag supplied. Otherwise excellent facilities.

little gem of a find, great communication, easy to follow instructions on parking and how to get access to property.

Excellent location, property, easy to find and really comfy.

It was an excellent location, really close to the square in Masham. The owners kept us well informed about all aspects of the trip and there was plenty of information regarding what to do.

The only thing was the chap opposite in Crab Apple Cottage left a note on the car windscreen saying we weren't allowed to park there. It said in the instructions "adjacent to the small wall" which was next to the property. But really nothing to do with the owners.

This was our first holiday as a family with a toddler. The location was perfect, hosts were incredible, facilities were everything you could ever need and it was an all round excellent stay. Cannot recommend enough.
