Fantastic first stay in the beautiful county of Yorkshire.

The location, cleanliness, equipment levels and fantastic sofas were exceptional.

Perfect Place To Stay In Thirsk

The accommodation was clean, airy and peaceful. We had 2 parties in adjacent accomodation and it worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen had tons of space and the host had provided pretty much everything you could have thought of in the cupboards. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and dishwasher tablets which are always a god send. Really thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

The country road coming into the property is not for the faint hearted but once you know it, it gets easier. Nothing to dislike about the accommodation.

Very well equipped accommodation in a quiet rural area.

The accommodation was spacious and well equipped, located on the premises of a farmstead in a quite area. The temporary host Paul was most friendly and helpful. Do visit the alpaca's!

The shower downstairs could benefit from a bit more water pressure, as it was a bit of a disappointment.

Beautiful cottage on a working farm in the middle of Herriot Country!

We loved the location- near Thirsk, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. We loved the accommodations- VERY nice and comfortable. James and Julie are great hosts. We also loved that the cottage was a rehabilitated farm building (amazing job of restoration) and is situated on a working farm. Alf Wight (James Herriot) was actually their vet.

Exceeded every expectation and blew us all away! Perfect cosy family getaway

The house was beautiful, came for a pre-Christmas family getaway and was pleasantly surprised to find it decorated all festive. Well catered for children with the stairgate and toys which were a lovely touch, it seems they thought of everything. Woke up one morning to see squirrels playing outside which the children loved. We can't wait to return in the future!

Beautiful cottage cleaned to an exceptional standard.

Not the owners fault but all adults were woken at 4.30am everyday by the noise of the crows it was so loud.

Excellent stay in a beautiful place, will definitely be returning in the future!

The cottage was beautiful and clean, with extra measures being taken during current times (eg. Masks and anti bacterial items provided) the family were very friendly and welcoming. The farm setting was beautiful. Lovely and quiet with no traffic (obvious farm noises). Only 10-15 minutes drive from thirsk and 5-10 minute drive from Sutton bank.

Exceptional

The house was lovely and warm when we arrived. It had everything we needed. We met the owner on the first night who was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything else which we didn't. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
