the hot tub and free parking were definite bonuses.
there was a little issue with a wet floor, but a plumber was sent round to sort it

A lots space for all of us
The hot tub take a while to get worm.We couldn’t use same day,because water was so cold.The downstairs bedrooms feels a bit damp and smells.

The house was so good, even better than it looks on the photos. The bedrooms are a really good size, every single one has an ensuite toilet and shower, and the beds were really comfy we thought! Living room/kitchen and garden area all also really nice. 2 fridges and 2 ovens. Good communication from the company who run it. Would deffo recommend staying here.
We asked if we could check in early when we made the booking and were told yes, so we arranged our travel around this (some of us came from 3 hours away). However, when it got close to the time we were told we had to pay an additional £60 for the early check in. This was never mentioned at any point previously and was frustrating.
No cleaning products are supplied. Would be useful if there was atleast a kitchen spray, bin bags, dishwasher tabs and a hoover so that we could keep it nice whilst we were there.

- A kitchen with multiple fridges, ovens and hotplates
- a bathroom per room, it was a real luxury, we loved it.
- a small garden which was more than enough, with a corner to relax and a nice barbecue
- space in front of the entrance to park 3 cars
- proximity to a large supermarket and a short drive from nature
- the very quiet street
- the adorable neighborhood cat
Attention, many negative points will follow, but I would like to point out that it remained a pleasant stay because we were not very much in the house. It was an extremely practical house for planning hikes and picnics for a large number of people. If you have a moderate budget and don't intend to be present enough, this establishment remains a very good option. It just lacks the hybrid side that allows you to enjoy your days in the Peak District AND your evenings with your friends after a long hike. This is what we were looking for, unfortunately too many things were non-functional when we arrived and had not been reported to us.
- The cleanliness was not perfect. Traces in some beds, blood even on one of them.
- sometimes dirty kitchen equipment (nothing dramatic)
- the jacuzzi does not work and the water was cloudy. Nothing is available to clarify the water.
- A lot of broken things. One of the showers literally fell apart.
- Very uncomfortable beds, it was difficult to sleep for the 4 couples who shared the rooms, a lot better for single ones
- No space to eat together. A single table inside with 4 chairs for a house that can accommodate 18 people. the outside is better if you use the garden furniture, but again the space for a real table is limited. It's sad because I think it's doable.
- Many bathrooms, but the hot water does not follow for large group, it is something to point out, even if it's completely understandable
- A lack of cooking appliances: plates, moulds, large dishes, pots to cook for a large group (totaly ok for a small one)
