Middleton Cottages

Beautiful cottage, quiet location with the added bonus of a secure dog field.

No faults at all, really catered for every need.

We had a really lovely stay at Pear Tree. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, comfortable and very well equipped overall. We loved the hot tub and the peaceful location, and it was a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Lisa was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome.

Only a few small practical things that would make an already lovely cottage even better. With the hot tub, we found it difficult to get towels dry as there was only one non heated towel rail and none in the ensuite. A few of the kitchen items could also do with updating, particularly the frying pan with a very loose handle, and some normal chopping boards would be useful. The listing mentions a coffee maker, but this was actually a cafetière. We also found EV charging quite difficult as cars can't be charged at the property and the nearby public chargers weren't very reliable. An on-site pay-to-use charger would be a fantastic addition in future and something we would have used.

The cottage was very clean. The hot tub was brilliant and well maintained and the view over the fields was magnificent. Brilliant staff.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

I went last year on my hen do and it was absolutely fantastic so booked again this year to come with my husband and we had the most amazing 4 days. Views were beautiful, cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be booking to come back again.
