Good stay in Eaglescliffe

Nice big kitchen, but not enough possibilities to sit together with 4 people. For us it was ok as we did not cook but for more people difficult.

The beds were too soft. Besides getting the right temperature was a bit like studying because we did not really manage it. But was ok. The house was nice but compared to the location etc. I personal think it is a bit overpriced.

Could be better with some improvements

The landlord was really helpful when we couldn’t get in the property because Booking didn’t send the key safe code. The location is quiet, walking distance from Yarm, with free parking. Nice garden.

There was dog smell all around the house, Our fault as when we booked we didn’t realise was a dog friendly accommodation, however, could have been better with a deeper clean. The mattress of the back room was uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have some hand soap in the bathroom. Also some tea bags/milk would have been nice.

It was fine. Clean and comfortable. Streaming through TV. Plenty of space. Useful kitchen. Ok location. Parade of shops & pub close by. Overall it did what it said.

Some little niggles here. One of the double beds was broken - the host offered to fix but have noticed this is something also mentioned on a previous review. Would be an issue if needing more than one bed. Bath plug broken so can’t use bath. Window also stuck open in bathroom. Towels in the washing machine. Stuff that can probably be easily sorted.

No dining table and chairs. Stairs dangerous for children as they’re open on one side.

Apart from the few hiccups we enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely quiet area. Property was clean. Pub within walking distance. Had a couple of meals there which we really enjoyed. Co-op also within walking distance.

Bed in the front bedroom could only sleep on one side as the slats kept moving and falling through the bed. Owners notified and said they will fix it before it is next occupied. The living room sofa's very uncomfortable could feel the springs on the sofa nearest the stairs.

Lovely premises and great value for money !!

Nice location, clean, comfortable and well equipped

I drive a large van and the inconsiderate neighbours made it very difficult to get near the premises (not the landlords fault !!) I saw an earlier post about the lack of a microwave and admittedly, I was quite surprised - HOWEVER, I raised the issue and a brand new microwave was delivered the next morning - superb service !!!

I could not find a hair dryer and the matresses were not the most comfortable but we really did love the stay.

Seems like a new venture with teething problems.

Clean and tidy. Lovely bedding and very comfortable. Warm once we worked out how to put the heating on.

Some items needed such as bread knife and bedside lamps not plugged in. Plug in bathroom broken so cleaning of teeth had to be done in bath which was not ideal.
