Harvest Cottage and Holly Barn

Great rural location but not too far for places we wanted to visit. Lisa/Ray who met us on arrival were very friendly and informative. The dog friendly cottage “Holly Barn” we were in had lovely views, WiFi, two bedrooms, spacious kitchen and the private hot tub in the garden was well used along with the fully enclosed/secure dog field on site.

Kitchen was very well equipped although somewhat dated. Mentioned a couple of minor issues on departure to staff: When we used toaster for first time, the toast popped up but tripped the circuit? Dining chair arm in kitchen was loose and my friend trapped her finger in it? Hot water in the kitchen was scalding hot, maybe a sign stating this would be useful and safety conscious, especially where vulnerable guests are involved.

Loved views,privacy and space

The double bed was very hard. This meant we slept in twin room which was not ideal

It was outstanding, beautiful location , hot tub was amazing , everything about this cottage was outstanding we are going back for new year

Nothing

We loved everything about Holly Barn. Everything we needed was there and it was so comfortable. Needless to say the hot tub was a great hit!! The surroundings are spectacular and the wildlife a joy!! We felt very relaxed and our 11yr old Golden Retriever was completely safe in the garden. We would highly recommend!!
