Perfectly quiet and relaxing
The village was lovely and friendly, the house had everything you could need and even milk in the fridge and biscuits (nice touch) it was so peaceful and tranquil sitting in the garden and hot tub was lovely, the garden was well maintained, we spent a lot of time out. We had a couple games of pool lovely bonus, great for exploring the county of north Yorkshire. Osmotherley, Roseberry topping and captain cooks county
The smell in the utility room was overpowering from the oil tank

Not a horrendous place
The property was clean and well equipped.
The smell from the oil boiler was overpowering, it meant we couldn’t use the games room. The doors either didn’t close easily which meant you had to slam them which isn’t great when you have small children or they didn’t catch when they didn’t shut properly so would bang in strong winds.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings
House was lovely, spacious and lovely location. Apart from few issues really enjoyed our stay
1 x bed not very sturdy in twin room Decking next to hot tub falling in not safe Step for hot tub rusty and falling apart did not use Water pressure upstairs for shower or bath were very poor unable to run a bath and shower took forever

Large cottage, but the smell needs sorting out
The cottage is in a lovely location. Very quiet.
There is an oil/fuel smell - seems to be coming from the boiler? But the whole house has this smell. After a while could make you ill. We were at a wedding so out for most of our stay. Only really slept there. When we were there we sat in the garden, as we had good weather Some areas could use a little TLC.
