This property is a charming home, centrally located in an idylic North Yorkshire village and close to local services. There is a pub nearby and a village shop just across the road (as well as shops at Scotch Corner if needed). A few of the neighbours said hello on their way past, this is clearly and area where everyone looks after one another.
We loved playing music from the very well stocked record player in the hall-study, an unexpected treat.
The living room was beautifully furnished with so much character throughout. The kitchen is possibly the very best stocked kitchen we've seen on any stay we've been on.
Bedrooms all very comfortable. Karen could not have been more helpful in checking our requirements before our stay so that the beds were configured for our family of five (2A + 3 boys). The beds were really comfy and we all had great nights' sleep.
The main purpose for our stay was to attend a family wedding at the estate up the road and the property was perfect for that, although this would also make a superb base for a family holiday exploring the North Yorkshire and Durham region - there is so much to see around here. 10/10

Easy to find. In a lovely friendly village with an excellent pub. Very clean and comfortable property which is very well equipped with all you could possibly need. Lovely comfortable beds and main bathroom with both bath and shower. Definitely a cottage I would use again if in this area.

Loved the kitchen, the oven and hob was fantastic, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for your stay, the beds was very comfy, the cottage was nice and clean and we got a lovely little hamper
The stairs are little steep
