Quiet, relaxing and perfect.

Location was calm, quiet and relaxing. Shephards Hut was fab.

Beautiful, clean Shepherds Hut in a lovely location.

Arrival time was 3pm staying for one night departing at 10am the following morning. What should have been a quiet and peaceful evening was ruined by the owner cutting the grass on a very loud sit on mower at 4.30 pm on a Saturday evening and continued on to his tractor until 7.30pm. For the amount you pay for one night I thought this was very inconsiderate and could have been done before arrival time. Otherwise a lovely stay.

The hut was beautiful and clean, well stocked with everything you would need. The welcome pack was very informative in giving instructions on everything including looking for the mouse house.

Has to pay extra for fishing. Would be nice if it was free while staying in the huts.

A short drive from Thirsk, a lovely market town with oodles of history. Ripon is in the other direction and Northallerton is also a short drive. So a brilliant central base for all sorts of places

Fab stay

Lovely place to stay as a couple with our dog, so cosy and pretty! Places close by for walks and there is a pub just down the road that is also dog friendly.

Great clamping stay in Yorkshire countryside

Very well kept grounds. Attention to details by owners made sure that we were comfortable. The quality of the build, furniture and soft furnishings were exceptional. Everything worked. We were left in peace.

By their nature, shepherds huts have limited space. Although everything was v well furnished (see above) there were just too many cushions, soft toys, gewgaws and ornaments around. In the end these took up shelf space and got in the way. Less is more...

Peaceful and relaxing

The hut was tastefully designed with lots of attention to detail. Location was perfect gorgeous views. Lovely little private patio area with BBQ which we used … table and chairs where we ate all our meals as the weather was glorious. Would definitely recommend and will probably come back ourselves

Bed was a but ‘firm’ for us … but this is not a criticism as it may be just right for someone else.

Morndyke StayCation

Everything. There was everything you could want in the Wash House. The mini shop was Lovley. Lots of information and all in a beautiful setting.

Nothing. A local pub would of been excellent, but this wasn't needed as it was nice to stay in.
