One of the best rentals we ahev stayed in

Met by the owner who lives in the adjacent property. An exceptional conversion of byres and barns . Very nice that the 3 bedrooms are in separate parts of the property offering their own space to occupants. The kitchen/dining room has a high ceiling and is remarkably spacious but very warm due to the AGA cooker.

The Byre is in a lovely scenic and peaceful location on a farm. Beautiful and comfortable accommodation. I loved the AGA cooker. Exeter copy bed and en-suite bedroom was fantastic.

Amazing find, total relaxation.

What an amazing find! Just outside Stockton in a lovely rural location. The setting is just perfect for a relaxing break fields and nature surround you. It was really peaceful there. Just down the lane is a footpath where you can meander through cow fields to a woodland and soak up the scenery. The accommodation was wonderful. It was a great as the pictures! The kitchen is definitely the main focal point of the property with its open plan and high ceiling. The Aga is a great feature and instructions are on hand to use it. A lovely dining table within the kitchen to enable you to cook and socialise together. Everyone was covered my our wonderful hosts such as milk, bread, butter and cake! We felt very welcomed. Each bedroom was situated in different areas of the house so I felt that we all had our own space when retiring for the night. The living room was cosy and there is a woodburner for a cold night. The family bathroom was a generous size and the master bedroom has an ensuite with a walk in shower. The beds were clean and comfortable. The property overall was clean and well maintained. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to others!

Perfect home for a weekend in Sedgefield

The Byre was the perfect place for our family weekend away. We were amazed by the size of the house which made it feel really luxurious. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast each day. The hosts had baked us a delicious cake and had left us some bread and milk which was such a lovely touch. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay, with great walk recommendations, a late check in and even helping to retrieve a lost earring. Do not hesitate to book this fabulous place!

A cosy place to have a lovely Christmas get together!

Cosy and warm with everything you could possibly need for a family Christmas. The owners dressed the house for Christmas with tasteful decor and a lovely real tree. We will definitely stay again.
