Lovley caravan need a good clean and updating no smoke alarms and covers on the coach were full of cigarette burns the m

Where do I even start, we arrive at the property to find there is no heating or hot water, the caravan was freezing (felt like -7 based on weather app) we had a 1 year old with us also. I notified the owner that the boiler wasn’t working and pictures was shown, she didn’t seem to care much. The boiler was not working for the duration of our stay from 3pm 18th February to 10am 20th February. The owner was very poor, she didn’t ask if it had been sorted at any point. She also made little effort with finding out what the problem was. The receptionist told me that the owner was notified of the problem on the caravan site in the morning of us arriving. She never passed on this message. I went out of my own way on the night of arrival to go and get one of those cheap electric heaters. Which had to just live in the hallway into the bedrooms as it just wouldn’t heat the living area up. We ended up catching a bug shortly after arrival in our first night there me and my partner was throwing up the duration of the stay, so we just had to stay cooped up in the bedrooms for our whole stay as we couldn’t go into the living area as it was like being outside it was that cold. THEY TURNED OUR ELECTRICITY OFF FROM OUTSIDE AT AROUND 9AM! Absolutely disgusting from the owners given what issues we had. I have never in my life had to leave a review like this. And I hope I never have to again. It was quite dirty, under the beds had never been cleaned by the looks off it Smashed socket on a wall which is highly dangerous and they will be reported for this Very basic tv channels 1-5 only Lots of damages to walls and carpets, which should be changed if you’re expecting people to stay in your accommodation They also have a sign (not shown on booking.com) that states you need to pay £25-£50 to cover utilities. So be really careful, these are just scam artists

Beautiful well presented exceptionally clean Caravan love the large bedroom with ensuite and as it was Christmas the Christmas tree and decorations were a bonus

Phenomenal, definitely going to make this might go to caravan holiday when visiting my brother

I liked that they had a homely fill, there was plenty of space beautiful view had everything that we needed never had a caravan that had so much thought put into it. Had all information that needed inside the caravan from Wi-Fi information to contact information. Needed to contact the owner was such a lovely lady so polite and helpful. The security team was amazing. Come out late at night in the cold weather to help fix the oven.

Had a little problem with the oven, not working as well as noticed a few bits around it was covered up by Sellotape just need a little bit TLC and it would be top notch caravan however this is me being picky.

Lovely stay

Loved the accommodation. Beautiful and clean. Well appointed with everything you could need for a few days away. Location is spot on too with access to a lovely beach just minutes away.

The park's a bit confusing in layout so check ahead if you can.

The beach is the best kept secret and the van is located in the perfect spot.

This was our 3rd stay at the caravan and we have already booked again. The caravan is exactly how it looks on the pictures it is very clean and cosy. Karen is absolutely lovely and cannot do more to help you enjoy your stay, nothing is too much for her.Definately recommended

Alright.

The place was quite and peaceful very relaxing when we first enter. The owner was really friendly and able to guide us properly through out our stay.

I wanted to share my experience during my recent overnight stay. Unfortunately, the linens had a noticeable odor that reminded me of sweat, which was a bit disappointing. I also had an eczema flare-up afterward, which added to the discomfort. I truly believe that a simple bedding change could greatly improve the stay for future guests, as everything else about the property was wonderful. I hope this feedback can help create an even better experience for everyone!

Very good comfy accommodation

Caravan was in a quiet area and had everything you needed in the caravan. Parking space next to it made for easy unpacking! Nicely decorated throughout! Bedding smelt super fresh! Very good value for money.

Nothing not to like about caravan only thing is you have to ring the host on arrival for directions and to obtain key. Never had to do this before normally receiving all information prior to arrival.

An excellent host, with an excellent caravan, in an excellent location!

The property is excellently situated, with a beautiful view out over the North Sea and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, with regular busses to either Hartlepool or Peterlee. Karen responded straight away when I contacted about the stay and even had tea, coffee and milk in ready, little touches like that are incredible. The caravan is fresh, modern and spacious. The WiFi was an added bonus as it meant my daughter could watch a film in bed on her phone. The number of games and activities in the caravan was great too. The trains running behind the caravan had no impact whatsoever, nor did the toilet running. We have enjoyed our stay and the caravan so much, we have booked to stay again next year!

May break with grandsons

Good communication with Karen regarding key collection etc. The caravan was a nice size. My grandsons thought the beds were super comfy. However because they were full size single beds you were unable to close the bedroom door. There was a great view out to sea. I would have preferred that there wasn't any privacy screening on the main windows to enable you to enjoy the views. The caravan is situated on a quiet part of the site, which suited us. There is plenty of utensils etc supplied. There was a nice dog friendly cafe just outside the park called dunes which was worth a visit.

We felt that the site was looking a bit run down with old caravans. The play park could do with an overhaul. I can't comment on the clubhouse as we did not go in.

Amazing caravan, great view, near the sea, modern and immaculate. Home from home. Loved it.

The location was ideal for us. It was near the sea and you had a sea view. Loved the balcony. The caravan was immaculate and very much home from home. Very modern. The kitchen had everything and more than you needed. Having two bathrooms was great. Contacting the owner to get in etc was easy. They were very helpful. Had lots of walks with our dog. Having the bowls for our dog there already was such a lovely touch.

Peaceful sea break

We were lucky enough to meet the host on our check in day. We had travelled from france with our 18 month old and dog and arrived early at 11am. Karen the host offered us access to the caravan early for our toddler which was greatly appreciated. The caravan was full of everything you need from cooking appliances and washing machine, to, utensils and all washing and cleaning products. The beds were very comfy, a cot was provided and dog bowls. The caravan had lots of children's and toddlers toys. Karen gave our son a brand new beach toy which was extremely kind and he loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The sea views and gorgeous beach walks completed our perfect stay.

There was a counter top mini oven and hob as a new oven and hob was waiting to be fitted. This was quite high up and awkward to reach.

The location is excellent, the beds are incredibly comfortable, everything is spotlessly clean, there is hot water, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a washing machine and a fridge. It's a perfect place for families with children."
