The beds very comfy honestly felt like i was being dragged into a very deep and soft slumber whilst I was there
The bathroom door doesn't fully close, and its handles on the door need to be screwed down and facing the correct way.
The inside handle for the bathroom is face the opposite way of the one outside the door

Although the beds/ mattresses are soft I was surprised at how comfortable my sleep was. We loved that there was a Christmas tree set up and plenty of space. Moji & her son were really kind and made every effort to clear up a misunderstanding.
Once I figured out the sweet spot on the shower is 7 it improved our stay. There’s a tv of good size and dining area

The house was very spacious and clean, which gave it a good feeling. It had only the necessities and wasn't cluttered with useless items. There was also a Christmas tree, which was a nice touch! The carpets looked hoovered; even under the beds, which most people ignore, and it had decorative ceilings.
There was a Morrisons within walking distance, and some takeaways a short drive away. Middlesbrough city centre is also a short drive away, as are some of the coastal resorts if you know which roads to take.
The owner also checked that everything was alright and seemed very helpful. We would stay there again in future.
There was nothing that we really objected to; only some minor issues, such as some window and door handles that could be better fitted. Additionally, I had to experiment with the TV controller to determine where the main TV guide/listings are located. It has the usual TV channels alongside internet-based apps such as YouTube, but some people might not work this out! An instruction sheet for guests would be helpful. But these are minor issues that did not affect the quality of the overall stay!
5.0 / 10.0·Aug 2025
The property was clean and easily accessible.
The back garden contains old furniture, appliances and wood off cuts from what I assume is the kitchen renovation.
The property boasts a “fully equipped” kitchen however the basic things such as baking trays were unavailable.
The blinds are dated and do not close properly so allow every ounce of light through.
After checking in the host informed me that there would be no hot water for the duration of our stay - this meant boiling the kettle to wash up, having to run the dated and powerless shower to get a semi lukewarm bath for our children.
Whilst the property has been updated and modernised, this has been done with lots of cut corners.
The dining table in the living area compromises the space heavily.
