There is urgent need to renovate the front of the building. The toilet seat needs to be moved to a better space.

Relatively close to the University and quiet in the night

No WIFI, worn out bedding and linens, the tap water in kettle smells like piss. We had to let the tap water run for a while before the smell vanished.

Basic but clean

The location was absolutely perfect, very central. The flat was spacious, clean and well presented.

The refrigerator was switched off at the socket so had to wait for a long period before I could stock the fridge. The quality of the bedding and pillows were of poor quality. Advertised as having washing facilities however, there was no washing machine in situ.

The whole flat/studio smelt of body odour The bed was filthy bare wires hanging in the entrance of the flat pots and pans where filthy snd ha ging ro bits a house brick was being used to keep a door open a floor lamp the other both problys sourced from the nearest skip Towels supplied where again very smelly and not in a good way after deliberating over a take away because I wouldn't decant dog food in the kitchen we left and booked into the Premier Inn

Where do I begin? Walked in a run down building in a dodgy area, and walked in to a dark flat, 2 windows one above the kitchen and one in the bedroom, but blinds were closed. No working WiFi, punched holes in the walls, found remanence of drug use (needle caps) the fridge was unplugged so couldn’t even use it, cleanest place was the bathroom. As leaving, the bed had moved as I was trying to strip the bed for them and there was full blown dirty needles under the bed!!!! I felt unsafe, oh and faulty alarm outside room which drove me crazy all night! Oh and our “decor” was a wallpaper sample with black tape as a frame 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Perfect location for Teesside University complete with free parking.

Decent studio appartment very close to Teesside University - great location as I was there to work on campus. Clean room with good wifi, on site parking and basic kitchen facilities/utensils/cleaning products.

Communication with the host prior to arrival was poor. I selected an arrival time through the Booking.com but got no response. Host seemed surprised when I called them to check-in like they were not expecting me. They rushed to me from an event which I was grateful for but I did have to wait 20 mins in my car.

Not value for money in my opinion

The property is close to town and local amenities

Being told to go and see the husband who was sitting in his car in order to check in after having waited 20 mins. Maybe it’s cultural differences but I suggest a little politeness would go a long way. Upon arriva, from the road to the front door it’s just a mess , when you enter there’s no much improvement in terms of cleanliness. The shower was scalding hot and the host tried to imply I didn’t know how to use a shower until I told them I was actually a plumber and they should change their thermostat. The fire alarm started going off because of the steam while I was trying to adjust the shower and everyone had to get out . The silk bedding was horrible, the pillows were stained smelling of sweat. I do believe they are good people but looking at their responses to reviews here, I think they should try and take it as an opportunity to learn what clients expect.

The area was good.with local amenities. And I felt safe and my car was safe to.

I didn't like the shared toilet and the view from the window. Also how often the security number for the main door changed in one evening.

Ideal for a night or two in the boro

Fantastic location for Middlesbrough. Close to town for a night out and for the Stadium if going for a match. Very useful having kitchen facilities, giving you the option to cook yourself if you want to.

A small TV would have been nice to have. This would have changed my rating from good to very good. Also the shower was either hot or scolding hot, and the taps are very difficult to adjust once they and your hands are wet.

Cheap and moderately cheerful

Quite a spacious room with ensuite and well appointed kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Price was ok but the room was very basic and I did have a few issues. Close to the university...

Other guests in different flats were smoking inside, smelt like weed as well as cigarettes. The shower was dangerously hot and the mixer seemed stuck on straight hot so you couldn't have more than a dribble of water on. TV stations not tuned, and internet was a bit fickle - I started watching Netflix only for the last 15 minutes of the show to repeatedly freeze and take 30-40 minutes to watch. Decor was pretty basic but matched the price tag I guess.

Great room with everything I needed. 😁

Great value for money. Clean studio apartment with great facilities. Worked brilliantly for a work trip where I didn’t want to spend loads on accommodation.

Perhaps make it clearer there is parking for guests as that’s a big bonus and also that ID is required. Luckily I had it but may not always take it on trips.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und das Zimmer war ruhig. Durfte meinen Koffer auch nach dem Checkout noch im Zimmer lassen. Sehr netter Kontakt.
