Enjoyable stay

The room was lovely and clean very modern as well. Large TV not that I even switched it on, had everything you needed, coffee machine, iron, haitlrdryer etc if ya need them things. Bathroom was clean, compact but ideal. Cant fault the room at all. Quite close to Middlesbrough Town about a 10/15mins walk, i enjoyed the walk in, if you dont like walking it might not he for you but plenty of buses or ubers about. Toby carvery is only up the road as well which was lovely. Would stay again, when im visiting my daughters.

staff did everything possible to suit my needs and the room was spotless!!!

The layout of the room was really well thought out, everything was easily accessible, and positioned well so that you didn’t feel cramped or boxed in like you get with more expensive big name hotels!!

The only real complaint I can have is that the Wi-Fi code on the wall in room 4 is incorrect, not a massive issue though as you receive the code in the online check in anyway!

Noisy location and other residents. The apartment had an unpleasant smell to it. Hairdryer didn't work. Bedside light only worked on one side. No tablespoons in the kitchen.

Property looked nice, but it was really dusty, I could see the dust stacked in the corners, then the rooms are literally next to each other and walls are very thin, there was some people in apartment one shouting and screaming all day even at night I could barely sleep, staff was really nice and approachable tho.

Terrible, had to leave on the same day!

I booked this accommodation believing it had a private bathroom, only to find out after payment that it was an external shared bathroom. On arrival, the heating system was stuck at 7°C, and despite calling customer service repeatedly from 3pm to 8pm, nothing was done. The receptionist even switched off his phone, leaving me in freezing conditions. No guest should ever have to experience this level of neglect, especially in such harsh weather. The lack of transparency, care, and accountability is unacceptable. This experience has caused me significant stress and affected my mental health. I sincerely hope management takes responsibility and ensures that no other guest goes through this again.

Unbelievable. Would recommend to everyone 100%.

The room itself is absolutely amazing. I booked the room with a little outdoor area and even that was unbelievable could not believe how well decorated and how clean the room was. It is directly across the road from every shop you need hospital is located down the road even a toby carvery it’s a 10 minute walk into the town not much more you need or could ask for. Ste the owner was great with me sorted me out within a few minutes.

Nice spacious room

We had to request for clean bedding and towels, no WiFi password until requested. There is no cutlery in the kitchen. Couldn't use the toilet due to when you flushed it the sewage would come up the shower plug hole, leaving a terrible smell. Which was unfortunate as the actual shower room was really nice.

The property was immediately clean and well kept the little outside terrace was also fabulous the attention to little details such as the slippers and toothbrush etc was great Parking wasn’t great there are lots of double yellow lines in the surrounding streets so not ideal for that.

Not keen on the shared kitchen I feel a small fridge in the room would be idea .

Good value, luxury feel, great find!

It is on a main busy road butt you can't hear it enough to disturb you. You can't hear any of the other people in the rooms as the doors & walls are thick Gorgeous room, has a luxury feel with the flooring, furniture, & panelled walls with backlights. Great design. The bed was comfy, sturdy and quiet with extra pillows on wardrobe if needed. Great features not many places have include - • A good sized smart TV without built in sound restrictions, already logged into the apps such as Netflix etc • 2 disposable bamboo personal care kits including a comb, toothbrush, tootpaste, ear plugs • Slippers • A holder for your tv remote • A bedside fan • Wifi details on the wall • USB outlets Felt very secure and safe, good price and near James Cook Hospital, a few good places to eat, shops over the road and close to the town centre. A great find overall, would definitely recommend!

I do prefer a bath to a shower but the other rooms may have had one we stayed in the Standard Double

Lovely stay, comfortable beds and very clean!

A very clean room with all the hotel style amenities. The host Steve helped us as soon as he could with a faulty door locks and continuously checked to see if everything with our stay was running smoothly. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean and there were enough towels and loo roll! What you see in the pictures is what you get! We only stayed one night but if we come back to Middlesborough, would definitely stay here again for longer. Thank you so much Steve :)

Would only recommend to get teabags in sachets.

The property was in an ideal location with local amenities close by, the room was very clean and well kept to a high standard, with also an en suite with an over head shower that works well .The bed was really comfortable and pillows super soft so had a really good sleep which is really needed after hard days work. The room has a kettle for tea and coffee they also have a kitchen washing machine and dryer, the kitchen has everything you need if you fancy cooking own food, the fridge was really clean as to some airbnbs I’ve visited in area so that a plus if keeping food in their. Overall I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in area for work or leisure as I’ve seen from other people staying in Airbnb that the check-in system was confusing personally I’ve had no problems but I did have a quick chat with owner and a new system is now in place and that the place has since had a full refurb to which how nice it looks well done Steve for the lovely stay

I would not visit again

The apartment was clean.

It was very unplesant and fritening to try ti get in around 10pm, when my chcking code did not work at all. Called to OYO help desk and thy said tgat typical responsetime is 24-48 hours. He anyways expedit the request and I got another code which finally worked. Claiming to the apartment was kind of challenge. But the worst was that the room was chilled cool- around 15 degrees. So I slept with my clothes on.

Don’t book here! Entrance code to get in the property was wrong , rang customer service they said they’d resend a code which they didn’t so had to book another hotel last minute , emailed them last week and still haven’t heard back so will have to ring my bank

Nice room- however needs improvements

Room was nice looked cosy and comfortable and spacious

Balcony had no furniture despite being advertised- furniture was cheap, slats kept falling off bed had to keep putting them back on. Not enough pillows on bed. Cleaning staff loud, shouting in corridor’s, Swearing and laughed in face when asked to quiet down because we were sleeping. Advertised late check out on guest portal however was told this isn’t an option. Called customer services, advisor was rude and inexperienced.
