I didn't stay I went home

TV didn't even work, no remote, bed was so hard stuck in a tiny room so I went home instead

Comp weekend stay

The layout of the apartment was good and was in walking distance to where we needed to be. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

When we walked into the apartment, we had to deep clean the kitchen/ lounge as it was very dirty and wasn't cleaned before our arrival. Also there wasn't enough plates, cups, utensils, pots/pans for four people. The kitchen could have been more equipped.

Didn’t stay here, refund process still pending was on hold for an hour then they just hung up. Area was rough. Wasn’t even worth checking in, loud, unsafe. Wouldn’t recommend

Cheap, not quite cheerful but served a purpose.

The building was close to where I needed to be and was a reasonable price for the facilities which were advertised at the time of booking.

I'm not sure what previous reviewers experienced but we didn't see what they had written about. The building from the outside looked to have been recently renovated however the inside appeared tired and in need of decoration. The bedroom and bed linen was basic to say the least, but served a purpose, the blinds didn't fully close and the curtains were missing. The shared bathroom was in need of a good clean but on a positive note the staff were friendly.

Terrible bathroom, dirty and stinky place.

The bathroom was a disaster, leaking sink (from the pipe below), very dirty. Room had a very bad odour, dirty towels and floor and uncomfortable bed. There was no one in the reception even though we sent the specific time of our arrival. We had to wait over half of on hour for ”check-in”. I’m sorry but I can’t recommend to anyone. I regret I didn’t take any photos but I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

The room is very basic but was clean , tidy and ideal for what we needed Somewhere to get ready and sleep Slept comfortably, staff were friendly and helpful

The location isn’t the best or the best view but again we didn’t expect beautiful views etc no did we need them Was worried that with it being built up area it would be noisy but it wasn’t

Friendly and comfortable. Good for a night's stay when travelling.

Staff very friendly and helpful. When I was struggling with knee pain on the stairs at check-in he offered me a different room on a lower floor. He also helped with my luggage. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the whole property had a fresh smell. The shower was of good quality and temperature.

The room could have been cleaner. The window sill was dusty and there were some black marks on the tv table and inside one drawer. The kitchen could have been better equipped and the oven and fridge cleaner. Having said that, The receptionist had offered me a change of room so this one may not have been properly prepared. I would not have been comfortable walking around the area at night. Apart from some fast food places, no real restaurants nearby.

Worth the money, needs a bit of a clean.

Very spacious, they let us check In early. Definitely worth the money. The beds and room were cosy and they provided all the facilities needed. Another great thing was that we were allowed a change of dates. The original booking had to be moved due to a family emergency, and the staff were helpfull enough to let us change the dates and not loose our money.

The rooms could have been cleaned better. We moved one of the beds and found an old burger king receipt. Also one of the cupboards had bits of onion skin left in it. It just could have used a good clean. There was also no TV in the room, which is a Dissapointment but not necessary as there was one in the shared kitchen. However with this being a shared kitchen, we could have done with a TV in our room instead.

Excellent value for money. Recently refurbished with new furniture.. Very welcome reception by Manager. Several good outlets on retail park close by. Easy to get to.

The neighbourhood is clearly impoverished and in process of regeneration. To the rear of the apartments is a Probation Office with several parking bays.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff

Was slightly worried after we read some reviews but had nothing to worry about! Rooms were spotless, kitchen and bathrooms are only shared by 2 rooms and again clean and efficient. All staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be using this again !

The online reviews are really really off putting which made me extremely nervous but the new owners have gutted the place and the reviews don’t reflect this. Also cups and spoons would be nice to have in the room but not an issue with greggs breakfast up the street!
