How easy it was to check in
It was noisy and not very clean and expensive for what it is
1.0 / 10.0
Doesn't appear as in the photos
No staff available
Illicit substances being used by residents in plain sight & felt very unsafe
Requested refund & was refused even though the property is falsely advertised. No mention that the council uses it as living spaces. I didn't feel comfortable to stay so never checked in

I didn't like the property much, besides the accessibility.
No hot water for showering. In the bathroom there was an exposed outlet next to the shower string to use to turn on the hot water.

Nothing like that to say
very worst room I had ever stayed. Stinky room, broken toilet. Asked for room changed request additional payment. Allotted room was different and room given was different.

Absolutely nothing. didn’t even make it into the room turned around and stayed somewhere else
We turned up at 1am from a 6 hour drive from brighton to 4 guys shouting outside and inside the lobby at the guy at the desk demanding a room from the council. We felt so unsafe we immediately got in our car and booked into stay elsewhere who advised us Longlands hotel always has these kind of issues.
1.0 / 10.0
Nothing, as we checked in and left 15 minutes later.
The hotel states that it is no smoking and no drugs, but there was a strong smell of smoke throughout including the family room. One of the single bed headboard was falling apart and the bed base was heavily stained. The sink in the room was badly cracked.
There were some dodgy people in the reception area that appeared friendly with the receptionist.
The whole vibe of the place gave an unwelcoming and unsafe feeling.
Definitely not a place for a family with young children like us.

Location
Welcomed by drug dealing on hotel forecourt, drug paraphernalia all around hotel entrance, vodka bottles & smashed glass in parking area, dirty bed sheets, broken furniture, room nothing like photos! Spoke to customer services at hotel & was promised a refund! 2 weeks later still waiting. Spoken to Booking.com nearly a week ago and was told its been escalated, but still nothing!

Everything was awful, shocked to see this on booking.com. My staff didnt even stay none night as it was filthy, looked like the sheets had not been changed, couldnt gain access to one of the rooms, broken plug sockets, stains from previous guests, creased curtains, lamp fittings were broken, drug paraphernalia everywhere! Not good at all! Should be taken off your site!

Nothing. Felt very unsafe. Drug dealing going out in and outside of the property, we seen three occasions of this just whilst we pulled up outside.

It isn’t a hotel it’s a B&B. The only 1 good thing about the place was the lad in the reception he was helpful.
It was a not so nice B&B NOT a hotel! . And we were in a upgraded room with a bathroom! The next door neighbour from our room came out drunk telling me to keep the noise down even tho we didn’t have no noise. It didn’t have clear instructions as to what number the doors were. To get onto the “driveway” you have to drive over the public walkway (no dropped curb) on to the gravelled garden to park. The bedding wasn’t on the bed properly only halfway. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to stay somewhere nice. The blinds on the windows were all twisted and didn’t close. I couldn’t stay I ended up driving home at 3am as I couldn’t bring myself to get undressed and in the bed. It just wasn’t for me at all. It houses homeless and workmen who want a cheap place to get their head down.

The cheap price. On the last day I was offered a cooked breakfast
The room was not clean, bedroom furniture was broken, the radiator was hanging off the wall and thermostat broken off, plug socket by bed not working, no bed side light or lamp, emergency/egress light inside room illuminated green which light the room at night, noise every night, breakfast choice was shocking. Not even enough cutlery/crockery to go round, staff seemed unapproachable.
