My husband and me fancied a night away and booked a standard room in this hotel, when we arrived there was a huge carpark with free parking. A guy met us in reception and kindly took us to our room and gave us all the information we needed about the hotel and time of breakfast, the standee room is quite small, but we choose the cheapest which was a good price, so I’m not complaining. However if I was gonna stay again which I will I would pay for the larger room. As it’s only a couple of quid more. The town centre is not far to walk, if you like walking, the hotel didn’t serve food, however there’s an idiom restaurant straight over the road and many places to eat and drink with in that area, so it’s central, breakfast was help yourself buffet breakfast, and it was good enough for us, we will stay again. Also staff no bother at all. Just let us enjoy our stay x

If not the worst one. On the entry to the cold room I noticed and open window with okld dirty handle that couldn't be closed without a thwack, probably scaring other residents. Just underneath it there was a dead mosquito... There was no hook for my jacket, no wardrobe, no table whatsoever.
There was a leak in the bathroom that led to the broken tile. Looked very old. No one was bothered to fix it, but still charge the same amount of money like for a normal safe room.
The radiator was working, but it was making the room frowzily, so I was switching it off for the nights. The duvet was as thin as a bed topping. All old and cheap, made of polyester. I was cold and slept so bad, as the lovely neighbours couldn't close their doors quietly and stop talking on the corridor...
The next day I asked for additional duvet and a cotton sheet, but apparently (as they stated), the hotel was full and they didn't have any spare one (?!).
I will be avoiding this place at all costs later on.
The only one plus is, the people working there are very kind.
