Planning my friends hen party and I had to find alternative accomodation in York due to problems with one that I booked months in advance.
I found this place and got in touch. Communication was excellent and they were very accommodating.
The property is a little basic, particularly the upstairs, but met our needs perfectly, it was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great!
The original property we had booked was in the centre of York, this one is a couple of miles away in a quiet area, which is lovely but completely depends on your situation and needs. We were a hen party so would have liked to be a little closer to the centre, but, if I was visiting with family or after a more relaxing break its perfect.

Clean and spacious accommodation, well equipped, accessible bathroom, easy access to property.
We didn't realise how close the property was to the A64 (our fault for not checking), so we did experience some road noise. The sofa beds were not very comfortable (very hard). The shower in the accessible bathroom was unusable, basically a trickle - definitely in need of upgrading.

No wardrobes, only one very cheap/hard sofa for 8, so had to use kitchen chairs to sit and chat, no cushions for comfort in the living space, tv didn’t work, curtains downstairs really thin and not hung properly…. No welcome message or gift offer on arrival. Overall given what we paid, there were no elements of luxury. As a group, we regularly go away for weekends… this was by far lowest quality for what we paid. Felt like somewhere that workmen would use as digs when working away.
